ENGLISH/ESPAÑOL

Good day everybunny <3

Today we have a project that was pure madness! As many of you may know, yesterday they released new information for the upcoming Pokémon game. In the trailer they showed three new pokémon, and one of them was Paldean Wooper, a new regional form!!It's so adorable, and the concept is very interesting. Every time we looked at the Pokémon we looked at each other and said "Hey, the head and body are almost identical as some patterns we already have. So, what if...?"So taking the chance that we had just finished a comission, we jumped onto making this little guy!!

We started with the head, for whish we used our Sasha pattern as a base, since Wooper's head looks a lot like the animal crossign rabbits. We tried on the gills and face and it looked precious.

After that, we made the body, using the Sobble patterns we made years ago. This time we had to make several changes and tests, because it was an old pattern. But at the end it turned out perfect!

We hurried to start designing the embroidery of the face and body, and also took the change to make the gills. They have quilt batting inside to keep the shape better.

Once we had those, we only had the feet and tail left. And apparently Arceus was on our side, because the patterns turned out good AT FIRST TRY. We wanted to cry from happiness.

And this is how we had the plush 100% finished 9 hours after it was announced.What do you think? We really like the shapes we made and the face ;__;

There aren't many WIPs because we were sewing at high speed to finish it, we think you can see our hype on the photos hahahaIt had been years since we last stayed working until past midnight hyped up by something recently announced. And although we also loved Fidough, the dog Pokémon, that one would need many days of work.We made Wooper just because we knew we could make it in one day. And if we were able to make it so fast it was because we already had most of the patterns and it doesn't have many details. Plus we were lucky and everything turned out good at first try. And finally, we also want to add that since it was a personal project, we didn't put so much attention to detail to make it look perfect. With comissions, we take our time because we want each detail to turn out the best possible. But we were lucky and it turned out adorable ^^

To be honest, Wooper isn't difficult to sew, and is a very loved Pokémon. So we are thinking on posting the patterns, together with the Johto form, as a minky reward. Would you be interested?We also added both the Paldea and Johto forms as a sherpa tier reward, so you can request them if you stay for 4 months :D

Y así fue como en 9h desde que se anunció, teníamos el peluche 100% terminado. Qué os parece?? A nosotras nos encanta la forma que hemos conseguido y su carita ;_;
