ENGLISH/ESPAÑOL

Hello everybunny! We hope you have a good December and your Holidays are great ^^

Today we have new WIPs of Angel, the puppy OC. If you remember, last time we showed the final head pattern. With the head done, we wanred to see how we would make the character's hair. The customer told us she didn't want faux fur because she doesn't like how it feels. So we decided to make the hairstyle with separated minky pieces. It was tedious to design each separate piece, but we knew that it would turn out great with patience. In order to make the hair pattern and know how many pieces we would need, we made them first with paper. And it already looked interesting!

When the customer gave us the thumbs up, we started designing the head embroidery and working on the hair pieces. Since they were a lot of small, flat pieces, we decided to sew them ITH. This way they turned out in the perfect shape without suffering while sewing them hahaha

Finally, we sew the head and started to place all the hair pieces and pin them to the head. You can see the result. We are IN LOVE. She looks gorgeous ;__; The hair looks fluffy and messy, very lively. We think we nailed the design of this part. We still have to place the hair on the back of the head, and it already looks great.

Honestly, making furry hairstyles with minky is more difficult than with faux fur, and some styles are impossible to make with minky. But if it's possible, it looks more adorable and cartoony. We will try to make more like this in the future!

----ESPAÑOL----

Hello everybunny!
