ENGLISH/ESPAÑOL

Hello everybunny! Sorry for taking a while to post, we've had a hard week and wanted to write a post once we had interesting things to show. We had some art block working on Agumon's patterns, we needed to make more tests than usual and we couldn't get things right. But we can finally show new WIPs of the baby dinosaur!

In the previous WIP we showed Agumon's "final" head test. But after looking at it for a while, it didn't convince us. We felt something was wrong, and at the end we realised that he didn't have enough skull in the back of the head. So we edited the pattern and added some fabric to the back. The change was very visible from the side! Agumon's face shape was way better now. But we still had to make some final adjustments. Sinbce we didn't want to use more Sunshine fabric, we decided to make the rest of the tests in white. So we're making a SnowAgumon prototype now  hahaha >:D

Now, with the last changes, the head shape was perfect. It finally looked like we wanted, so we started working on the body pattern.

The body looks simple, a basic pear shape. But the problem comes with the chest and neck. We wanted all the body to be one piece, nothing had to be sewn over, but at the same time we wanted the different parts to stand out. For example, the chest muscles had to be over the belly, and the neck to go a bit toards the inside. In the first tests we made the body too wide and the neck too thin. And in the third test we realised that we also had to plac the chest piece better.

Finally, in the 4th test, we got a great body pattern! We added his cute tail to complete it.

The pattern gives the chest some volume and marks the neck, but if you make some thread sculpting, it looks even better. The idea is that you need to thread sculpt both the head (around the eyes) and the body, to get a perfect shape. But if you don't want to make it, it will look good anyway! ^^

With these pieces done, we only need to make the arms and legs. What do you think? Do you like how it's turning out?

We're running against time, but don't worry, we will post the patterns this month unless the remaining pieces are a chaos hahaha

----ESPAÑOL----

Hello everybunny!
