We are testing Discord instead of Slack for the members only chat channel (Patreon)

Hey everyone!

Josh, say hello to your mother for me.

Everyone else - we are currently testing out a Discord group as opposed to Slack for our members only chat.

Discord is tightly integrated with Patreon rewards and has some additional features that as might use for group calls and private live podcast sessions.

It would be great if you could try joining our Discord server and commenting here with any issues you have. If it works out well, we'll stick to Discord. Otherwise we will try Slack. You'll need to create a Discord account if you don't already have one along the way.

Here's a quick article on the Patreon<>Discord integration. Most of you will want to opt for option 2c: Account Settings > Connect to Discord.

If successful, you should automatically be placed into The Michael Brooks Show Discord server since you've all already become patrons.

Again, comment here if you have any issues getting connected. Two of our moderators - Ben Basche and David Slavick - are waiting for you in the #general channel on Discord. We are experimenting with this and need your help to see if it is a good option for our conversation to live.
