Michael if you have Nancy Maclean on your show talk about how Buchanan used money for the training of teachers to shape the way people think about government. I live in the south, I see the damage that this has done every day.

Matt was wrong about disgust being a political thing... it is not a big deal except for conservatives. Re-read Haidt. However, a totally agree with Brooksey's take: there are at least two distinct forms of disgust, the immature and the warranted. I would bet Haidt has not studied the latter, because he is too close to IDW (I think) to be sympathetic to true leftists politics. Haidt is too focused on conservatives versus liberals, he cannot see the genuine left as distinct.
