This week going we are going back to great Stuart Hall. His writings on Gramsci bring the often cited but misunderstood thinker into clarity and situates his theory for the Left today. Following that, I've also selected another piece by Hall that highlights the evacuation of socialist thought by many of the European Left parties and its consequences. Lastly, an important piece on Italian workerism, an interesting movement that is not well-known in the US.
