Thanks for covering the new Red Scare. Thoughts on Tulsi aside, it's pretty sad and pathetic that so many Democrats are willing to believe that somebody is a "foreign asset" based on no evidence other than some pundit or politician making a baseless accusation. This tactic has and will be used against Bernie too, for voting against the Magnitsky sanctions. It is emblematic of a worldview that is paranoid and nationalistic, if we think that any fair criticism of our country's policies suggests that the speaker is an agent of a foreign power. The Democratic party is the party of the CIA more than the party of the working class, and this tactic must be condemned no matter who it is used against.

Monique giving us a cold shower. Have to say I agree with her 100%. Nothing Trump says or tweets is funny to me. Call me an autistic nerd. I do like listening to Brooksy satirize all and sundry in the Trump orbit though. Brooksy can make me laugh. Monique makes a great point that laughing at Trumps idiocy does dangerously normalize the freak. There can be good strategy at times in just filtering out the GOP for periods. Just cover other stuff.

With democratic socialism, non-idealized, Brooksy is 100% correct, there would still be natural competition, but it would be between different products, not between people. Worker coop firms could cooperate together, and compete on product difference, they would not be competing viciously, becasue socialism would support everyone with universal programs like job guarantee and basic income and a strong healthy p[public service sector. No one would be worried or anxious about losing a job. Business fail to appreciate this. Artists and scientists understand it quite well. Cooperating and sharing always beats competitiveness. Businesses fail to appreciate this because they only tend to survive under fierce competition by making inferior cheaper products or by horribly exploiting labour, not by making the best products or treating labour justly.

🔥 Post game. Tulsi does have a pretty robotic rhythm and sound to her voice. The other day I thought Waze was trying to be cute by having a few of the candidates as a voice option for the turn by turn directions. After the first few voiced directions I was over the Tulsi voice and wanted Bernie instead but I was confused when all it said in the settings for voice narration was “default”. “I kid I kid” loved David before but now knowing he was Triumph just makes me love him even more. I had the DVD of all his appearances. It must have been 15 years ago or so. If I knew what happened to it I guarantee I would laugh just as much now as before. The Bon Jovi performance is one of my favorites.
