I just cannot understand how anyone thinks Biden is good for black Americans. He's "credit card Joe" for a REASON, every legislation he's signed has benefited the wealthiest bankers and cc companies which is to the detriment of normal ppl (and whatever hurts normal ppl financially always winds up hurting POCs worse, data shows this) He's made it so you can't discharge student debt via bankruptcy, he supported "states right" (racist dog whistle) and their right to choose whether or not to desegregate their schools. He voted in favor of that shit back when Clinton was president making the "war on drugs" harsher. He's the worst for POCs, everything about him demonstrates that.

Bernie has the most feminist policies ever introduced by a presidential frontrunner ever. Green New deal, Universal child care, Universal health care, Free public colleges and universities, Equal pay for equal work. Pro peace, to mention a few, and all these policies first and foremost benefits women of any race and class and consequently men.

Brandon is 100% correct about the neoliberal characteristic of loving to criticize something but also go along w/ it, all the support of Kamala Harris was probably the best example of that (so many neolibs were complaining about Tulsi Gabbard pointing out her using prison slave labor to fight fires, acting like it was a cheap shot instead of acknowledging Kamala was wrong and bad to have done it)

Justin Jackson was awesome, first time I've heard him in this context. Great interview. Congrats on getting Lula and Cornell West in the same month! TMBS setting a high bar early in 2020.

Worst thing about Neera Tandem? @34:54 that email exchange with Faiz shows that Neera fundamentally is economically illiterate. She thinks the US gov deficit is bad. But the US deficit is dollar-for-dollar the non-government savings. Simple accounting logic. So she is saying the US domestic sector has too much money, therefore they should extract the oil from Libya to ... what? To put even more money into the US domestic sector? But that will not reduce the government deficit, it only reduces the private sector deficit, unless the Congress also raises taxes. So if they do not raise taxes the government deficit will be more or less unchanged, the domestic sector will have more (in the hands of the oil baron one-percent) but it is at the entire expense of the people of Libya. We all know what Neera actually think: she thinks the government can pay off the national debt. That means destroying non-governmental savings. Forget her SHillary tendencies, that's surface, she is mad and dangerous for far more fundamental base reasons --- promoting austerity.
