Great show as always. I never grow tired of the Biden bit as the two interviewers start leaning away from him as he says “I know black people” As comic material it’s priceless. Btw Michael, to the extent it’s possible, please live stream your roadshows like Harvard etc. Because their topical and focus on current events, it’s fun to watch them when they are occurring. Also I’m nearly ready to end my sub with the NYT to devote the $ to TMR or raising my Patreon level for your show. Thanks!!!

wow, @13:50 Brandon nailed it. Failing NYT is the apotheosis of the oligarch+PMC financialized complex. They see Bernie as threatening their entire existence. As well they should. I fear Michael Hudson might be right tho',--- the Dem elite have already selected the candidate, and they select Trump. Trump does everything the Hillary/Obama crowd really want, and they get to blame all the bad optics on the GOP. It's perfect for them. This explains why the Impeachment is just theatre. They have no intention to throw Trump out of office, none whatsoever. They just want McConnell to look like the ghoul he is. I'm only half joking about this, I can believe it is the elite's strategy. The only way out of the duopoly of kelptocrats is for leftists and progressives to run the neoliberals and necons out of the Democratic Party and then later down the road proper electoral reform to allow anyone with a name and ID, over age, say 18, maybe 21, to run for Congress, complete open ballots. no political party. Cumulative vote systems at local level, delegate voting at national level. Like the Baha'i do their elections. But in the short term, at least force the neoliberals to join the GOP. If they do not they'll just become the equivalent of the UK lib-dems, which is where they belong.
