Mike

A great book to check out more information on the US' actions in Latin America is Greg Grandin's "Empire's Workshop." The basic thesis of the book is that the USA uses Latin America as a playground to try new techniques for imperialism and then exports what it learns to the rest of the world. When the USA is defeated, it also turns to Latin America to get its groove back.

Safiya
