Wondering if you could spend a moment debunking overpopulation as a serious problem facing the world? There seems to be a coterie of folks who posit this notion without being overtly racist or anti-poor (at least on the surface), and, when presented in a seemingly reasonable fashion, the idea that earth has finite resources and its population, at a certain point, will outstrip them doesn't come off as unreasonable--especially if it's coupled with a critique of unlimited-growth capitalism (neoliberal or otherwise) being unsustainable. Can you talk about the roots of the "race riot?" Where did it start? It seems like it evolved out of Reconstruction and Jim Crow to reframe black fightback of white terrorism. But in subsequent years it appears to have evolved into some sort of revenge fantasy for disaffected men to justify violence. For example, the excessive use of force within the police and extending that to armed young men like Kyle Rittenhouse.

I'd love to know y'all's thoughts on Robert Reich's "Saving Capitalism". It obviously doesn't go far enough for those of us who believe we need to evolve past capitalism, but it also seems like at least attacking "crony capitalism" is a step in the right direction. I don't know a lot about this, I just saw the documentary on Netflix the other night and I thought it did a great job of laying out the problems of wealth inequality and political corruption present in crony capitalism.
