Death has secrets for us, if we care to listen. (Patreon)

death
is a short pause
between life
& more life
Death can feel like such a heavy word sometimes.
Perhaps that's why I like to play with the idea.
Death is the ultimate weight that drops us deep into our grief, our unfelt rage, our numbness, our despair.
It can wrestle us so quickly into a chokehold of uncertainty.
It can unveil parts of us we'd long kept hidden.
Death can also free us.
It can make space.
The death of a relationship. A career path. A habit. A project. A person.
In the mysterious void left by the death of something... there is pure potential.
When we sit inside the emptiness of death... we often touch more intimately the fullness of being alive.
Sit in stillness with this.
Meditate on death.
Cry with death.
Laugh with death.
Smile at death.
Death has secrets for us, if we care to listen.
