An unexpected dream in Venice… (Patreon)

Several weeks ago, I met up with a friend of mine in Paris — one of the most talented Shibari artists I’ve ever met, named Marie Sauvage, who was trained in Japan several years ago by the best of the best in the world.
She invited me to come to an event this Saturday in Venice… and I said yes.
Tomorrow night, we’ll all be costumed and eating dinner, and she’ll be tying her muses, all in a gorgeous Palazzo. Decadenza is the name of the event, co-hosted by her, an event producer and DJ named Alexandre Toesca, and a model named Anna Lisa Wagner. This is all happening during Venezia’s famed Carnival, during which people wear elaborate historical costumes and masks, and enjoy vivacious celebrations.
And we all know how deeply I love celebration for celebration’s sake…
It ends on March 1st, the day before this coming Ash Wednesday.
I suspect this celebration brought many, many more people here pre-Covid… it’s been a bit lively, but in a very soft, muted, even quiet way thus far.
So, I arrived in Venice a few hours ago. I stepped off the plane and found my way to a water taxi to take me into the city. The only way to get there is by water, after all…
The pure glee and delight in my heart, riding for thirty minutes into this place I’ve dreamt of being ever since I was a girl. The history and pure magic of Italy has only begun to be uncovered by me.
We docked and unpacked my luggage. I checked into my adorable hotel a few blocks into San Marco, a popular area of Venice. Exhausted from travel, I laid my head down for a nap.
What followed was an incredible journey into erotic dreamscape…
I just woke from the most vivid and fantastical dream of myself, Marie, and countless women tying each other and being tied all through the canals and alleyways here. Donning gorgeous corsets and gowns and lace and pearls.
We were on boats and gondolas, performing on these giant rafts in the canals, and inside these giant plastic bubbles that were affixed to the sides of many of the buildings. (In the dream, at least.)
What an erotic and spectacular dreamscape to welcome me into the city.
When I woke, I could swear the air smelled of sea and sweet, sweet candy.
My imagination is such a wild playground.
(But oh… how inspired I am to bring certain visions to life.)
What a lovely treat for my mind’s eye…
I can only hope for more tonight — a prelude to the spectacular evening to come… 🌹
xoxo
