What a beautiful, if tragic, story... absolutely adore the image of the two witches changing into a tree together, it's gorgeous and so well done. And gosh if Akko's crying face isn't just the best. Fantastic work!

Wow, this was really sad indeed... Just seeing the witches holding on together... Really powerful stuff. And also your art is so perfect and I just want Diana and Akko to go back in time and save them or something, and then right at the end there's Akko going "I'll kick everyone who tries to hurt you" which made me laugh... though I also keep thinking, if this entire time, witches returned to the tree, and decided to add more protection to it to show their respect or their feelings, there must be a lot of magic around the tree. The idea of such diverse magic, each spell adding the personal touch and feelings of the respective witch, but all to protect and comfort the tree witches... First of all, this thing has gotta be the magic equivalent of a pretty impressive fortress. Second, if the emotions reach them... I'd like to imagine that it allowed them to ascend so maybe this forest has gay dryads now which is something I would sell my soul to. TLDR; You did an amazing job with this comic and I am blown away by the art and emotions you convey. Tons of respect. Maybe witches should travel to Ticcytx as a place of worship, too.
