I really feel you there, Akko... I still feel so bad for the two tree-witches entangled here... I just looked back at the previous page, and just ;; Time after time, I am impressed how your art can stir these emotions so easily... But thankfully (for my heart), you also write really satisfying relationships. Diana is not a stereotypical tsundere, it really feels like she has been brought up as being proud of her family. She never cared much what outsiders thought of her, and she excelled in her studies. Now, with Akko, who is so much more outgoing than her, I think Diana really has things that are very meaningful to her, and she wants Akko to be a part of them. But at at the same time she is not used to pick activities someone else would also enjoy, so despite her confident demeanor, she really does worry if Akko might not feel the same about the activity, that it might bore her, or that she sees it as pointless. I assume this is why she would take the "cheesy" comment a bit in the wrong way. This would not be something to break a relationship over, but Diana worried that Akko might not see a gesture that for Diana is very meaningful the same way. It's a very human mistake to make, and it makes the relationship feel much more three-dimensional. (And considering Akko, who I would take for someone who would go for a grand gesture in a proposal, it's pretty clear that she is deeply affected by what she is experiencing. This is a proposal from the bottom of the heart if there ever was one). I could go on for hours how much I love your comics and art. Hell, I could spend like an hour just crying and rambling over that one panel of the two three witches holding each other on the last page. Just... Thank you for letting us be part of this experience.

omggg I love your analysis and sorry if I took so lon to reply to this comment: I totally agree with all you said, Diana has a lot of troubles acting her age and probably overthink a lot of stuff. She meant to give akko a good experience and memory for the both of them, being linked to the magic history she is so fond of... but of course for Akko, who is more pratical, all this can be very cheesy romantic, from someone who is often serious like Diana, and this make everything kind of funny. But they totally care about each other, they are from two different worlds, but they still find a deep connection, and it's not a teasing that is going to make them reconsider. About the effect that all this story had on Akko, I think I will explain it better in one of the future updates!! but you are on the right path! Thank you very very for reading and all the support, this story exists moslty because of you guys ♥

oh interesting question!! To be honest, I wouldn't be against publish them outside patreon after a certain time, but I prefer to do be trasparent with my patrons, and ask first if everyone agrees on making them public after a year or so, or keep things like they are. I might do a poll later, if it's ok!

I think a lot of story writers make the mistake of pairing two characters who are exactly the same, but that is not how relationships work. Diana and Akko here complement each other, giving the other some things they themselves lack. Diana can learn how to loosen up, remember to have some fun and take some personal risks. Akko can learn about the benefits of some traditions, about when to take things seriously , and about sometimes to be more careful about things when necessary. And who knows, in time, Akko might have to face a Diana who can turn the tease right around on her and leave AKKO a flustered mess. (So yeah, I think these two gay disasters love each other exactly the way they are, teasing and cheesiness and all)
