That's what Aruka's been running from all this time, her feelings and the potential of those feelings being discarded by Yukimi. :l I agree with another commentator; cliffhangers are a crime on the emotions. 😆

It can't be that simple. Yukimi hasn't fully figured out what she's feeling and what it means. I think she knows she feels SOMETHING different, but she doesn't yet realize that she loves Aruka, too.

Assuming Yukimi *knows* it's mutual. I think she needs more time to figure out what she's feeling. I think she knows that she isn't disgusted by or scared of Aruka, and that she desperately wants Aruka to stay. But she hasn't realized that that desperation is love, nor has she navigated or accepted what that means regarding her own sexuality.

But Yuki has stated that she didn’t know of her sexuality herself in this time period. And I think it’s to earlier for her to just know she loves Aruka than more than just a friend.

I don’t think she understands her feelings quite yet. She does notice that she thinks about Aruka every day and misses her and wants to see her. I’m not sure if she put it together yet.
