My First Panel BTS 7 (Patreon)

Dunno if anyone actually noticed but- we fully forgot to turn the crowd midground layer back on before the final export! Lemon did such an incredible job drawing the crowd, so we wanted to make sure people saw the actual intended version. Oops. <:3

Interesting thing about Section 17, this one was almost entirely stagnant with the exception of Rea.

When we were doing the initial watch through of it, we wanted to come up with a way to make the shot more interesting without adding any further drawings tasks- so we decided to start the shot with a close up of Felony, then zoom out to reveal the crowd. We added a camera shake on top to give the impression that Pat or Gabe was the one filming, resulting in a much more interesting shot than if it had been left untouched.

There were a lot more shots like this where we had to cut drawings for time, or come up with creative ways to sell a shot without ballooning our production timeline. We love animation, but sometimes you have to work smarter not harder to hit your deadlines and stay on budget!
