Whenever hard feelings come up in the pod someone always apologizes for it, so I just want to thank you both for your vulnerability. As someone who has been fighting the many mental health struggles that result from complicated childhood trauma for a long time now I will always appreciate being reminded that I am not alone and I can be brave too.

Okay I love the real deep episodes where we’re all in our feelings but I also agree that for both of your sanity’s sake, maybe tone back. People suck and you’re both so in the open that you’re more susceptible to the hate. I have nothing but love for both of you and wish the best for both of you in all of your endeavors. Youre angelic beings ❤️

So many things. I saw the stream with the top, I figured QT was just feeling herself that day, it was a really cool flowey top! Grief is hard and weird and I don’t think there’s a wrong way to deal. I think most fans want to engage with real emotion and genuinely respond to such relatable conversations. It’s just a shame there are shitty people making that nearly impossible by choosing to take things out of context of twist them for their own agenda.

Rae sad, makes me sad ❤️ sending her so much love at this difficult time 💕💕💕

rae 🫂🧡🫂🧡 it'll get better, as someone who lost my mom and had a very complicated relationship with her; but take your time, say what you need to say, feel what you need to feel

I just lost my husband Feb 2 to cancer. I’m 32 he was 41, we have two little boys (7&8). From diagnosis to him passing away at home peacefully with me as hospice care was 14 days. I don’t know when or how it’s going to hit me… but I’m still waiting for a big semi truck of emotion… I haven’t been able to slow enough for it to catch me yet..

I lost my dad in '18 to cancer (long 15 yr battle). This December I lost my mom very quickly to cancer. One month after that, I lost my dog. I still don't think I've processed any of it, but you just move forward however you can and try to look to the excitement of tomorrow and not the sorrow of yesterday.

Sorry that happened to you. I wish you the best!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I'm so glad I caught up to OP, just the latest chapter in OP had me ugly sobbing. Unfortunate QT might not want to watch it because it'll make her sad, but OP does so good at cherishing family ties...oh but it can be very traumatic so yeah... I love that both of them gifted with warm thoughts of what the other might like <3

Torayume

Thank you for being vulnerable and open this episode. Best wishes to everyone <3

I appreciate this episode so much. I lost my dad last year and I hadn't talked to him for months before his passing. I have always resented him for how he treated my mom growing up, so I never put in the effort to have a relationship with him after they got divorced. However, when he passed, I still had a huge wave of grief because I had always thought I had time to reconnect with him in the future.

Terrible it happened so fast. I wish the best for you and your boys. Peace be with you

This episode was especially beautiful in the way Valkyrae was being transparent about her emotions and QT holding space while she navigated them aloud. Grief is complex, and it's not easy to navigate. Never be sorry for an emotional episode - it's honestly nice and relatable for those who have gone through something similar. Thank you for being so vulnerable. Sending you so much love, Rae, during this difficult time!!! <3

I love how Rae immediately got into the pieces. Good gift, QT!

Oh Rae. I am so proud of you for speaking so openly. It's so refreshing and real. My parents both struggle with addiction and alcoholism. In December I found out my mom relapsed but came to find out she hasn't been sober for years. I found out from a phone call saying she crashed her car into a tree...on purpose. She is alive and in rehab now and I am navigating how I want our relationship to continue.. It's so hard and there is no rule book or guide. But speaking about it helps. Do not apologize for emotions. Sending thoughts and prayers for you and your family.

I started crying when QT said she doesn'tn care if it makes her sad. SO REAL.

qt was so amazing and caring with rae’s grieving this episode. she really is such a kind and wonderful person

I'm crying, this is so relatable. I relate with Rae on so many levels; I grew up with an alcoholic dad and a very broken family, and as a kid used video games, music, movies, literally anything to drown out the fighting. regardless I was always a daddy's girl and struggled to have a good relationship with my mom. my dad left randomly on a whim and decided to pursue drugs and attempted to keep up a very toxic emotionally abusive relationship with me, but I had to cut him off. It's really hard to handle those emotions- I struggle with it every day. Rae was one of the reasons I started streaming and she inspires me in what I do, and I too find that to be a great coping mechanism. It's hard to reach out, hard to face those problems, hard to think about the what-ifs. It's hard to grieve over someone you're so angry with. Someone who betrayed you and your whole family, who treated you so terribly, but you loved so much. Thank you for this episode, and I'm praying for you both. God bless you 💖

Rae it’s okay! I find myself in a very similar situation. I have a family member that I had no real or close relationship with pass recently and my dads brother is also on hospice recently and it’s hard to gather enough knowledge of my own feelings to be able to even understand why or what I’m feeling. Everyone goes through this in some facet or another. On another relatable note, I also work in healthcare and you should hear some of the dark humor that goes on just to simply cope with all the heavy and tragic situations of patients we come into contact with.. humor is such a real way to deal with otherwise terrible situations. And I’m sorry that because of your platform it makes you a spectacle and makes you feel like you can’t or shouldn’t react like any other normal human. Because you are just that,.. human. Thanks you guys for always being you! And I hope you never ever let those “one guys” dampen your lights. 💕
