The reason they don't say Asperger's anymore is because it's just autism. That's it. Since 2013 its been an official stance that there's no difference between autism and asperger's. The only real reason it was used was because it was a "nicer sounding" way to describe an autistic person. This belief in society stems from the pediatrician it was named after who broke autistic children into groups and named the "intelligent and trainable" ones after himself (His last name was Aspergers), whilst participated in Nazi eugenics during WW2 allowing the other autistic children he deemed "dumb and useless" to be euthanized. These are the reasons why it's not used as a diagnosis anymore and not accepted by the community. Sorry for the long winded comment but I feel like it had to be said lolol

Nothing to do with the episode but are you aware it still says hosted by Maya in the account description?

I'm curious to know which description you mean. All the descriptions I could find on the Patreon pages seem to all mention QT and Rae as hosts. But for sure there's a lot of Maya still on the Patreon. If I go to the Collections tab on Patreon, pretty much all the collections/playlists are still QT/Maya photos, even the ones that Rae now actively contributes to (main podcast, call-in confessions, etc.).
