I have been getting requests for an updated Octatrack performance template guide, so here it is. The Hybrid 4x4 Template is still in production; it's currently loaded in my Octatrack right now, and I am at the end of Part 2. For those of you who don't know, the Hybrid 4x4 Template offers 4 free FLEX tracks and 64 performance effects. It uses both Performance Mixer 3.0 effects (4-bar modulated risers, noise sweeps) and Hyper FX (beat juggling, glitch fx). Look forward to the release this month.

Best,

Matt

All the templates are amazing. Thank you for all the work to build these. Some of these should be included with new OTs! Sometimes I think you know them so well and other people might not know when to use which one. What might help people is to give an example. Add a line on the spreadsheet saying Use For or Use with… a DN & DT to mix between them in a live setting… Or maybe that’s obvious to people that join your group? Keep up the great work!

Hello. Just wondering if there was any update on the Hybrid 4x4 template? I'm very eager to check it out because it sounds closer to the type of workflow I'd like to use. Thank you so much for all your work on these! They are super fun and make for an easy entry point into starting to understand the potential of the OT.

Yes! It’s very far along, I’ve been distracted by TonverK. I’ll upload an update this week

I’ve gone through all your template videos and am in awe, well well done. I’m looking to build a hard hard techno set with a rytm, td3 and a quantandrid swarm…using the octatrack as a mixer, sequencer and fx box… I must admit I’m a bit lost on which template would work best for this My plan is to cut my teeth on the performance mixer and get a feel for the thing, but I’d so appreciate any advice on where to start for my purposes:) Thanks again:)

I think that’s the perfect place to start!
