Tonverk is truly like no other Elektron box. It has a ton of features not seen on any other box in there lineup, and also oddly, a list of features missing you would expect to see. This doesn't take away from the incredible idea behind the unit. Sample, resample, MULTI-SAMPLE. route unique effects, stack effects, and sequence up to 16 pages with 64 voices of the highest quality sounds Elektron has to offer. This is not the Octatrack MK3 and it's not supposed to be. This is something new, something novel, especially for Elektron. Oddly the device it reminds me of the most is the Teenage Engineering OP-XY. The difference being I don't want to throw the Tonverk at the wall after 15 minutes with it. If you have an OP-XY you know what I mean. They both multi-sample, play samples polyphonically, have "subtracks", and offer routing options with sequenceable effects. They are oddly similar but I don't mind, I wanted to like the XY a lot more than I do, and I do like the Tonverk.

I go pretty deep on the Tonverk in this stream, and make a few patterns of different genres, leveraging most all the features the box has to offer. Check it out!
