WE RELEASED AN ALMBUM - TOGETHER (Patreon)

I started the discord server for my Patreon/YouTube channel at the beginning of COVID-19. The Discord began for me as a way to hang out with other likeminded musicians and share my own art/music. So I added links to my Discord channel everywhere: on my videos, on Instagram, in my text chats, on my business card.. anywhere I could - and it worked. People came in what felt like droves and I honestly doubt it was because of my winning personality or musical talent. I think people showed up because they were invited and I believe that is what makes our community special. We greet everyone - always. We actually listen to each others music, and we laugh A LOT. The amount of talented people I am lucky enough to call friends now is invaluable to me and as far as I am concerned it's what it's all about. We now have roughly 350 members in the EZBOT discord and it is a busy place. I am just another face in the crowd there at this point - which is perfect for me and more than I had hoped for.

At one point a member (Orbofthemoons) had an idea, "what if we made an album collectively and gave the proceeds to charity?" So we did exactly that. A few months later (today) that album was released! 27 different artist participated to create a 27 track ambient works album. Many of you who are receiving this Patreon update participated in the project and I love you for that. All the proceeds from the sale of the music will go to the ACLU which was selected democratically by the participants and doesn't necessarily reflect the views of all the artists. We even offer it on tape for those who want a physical medium, but you better hurry up because they are almost gone.

I am extremely proud of everyone involved. Thanks for reading this uncharacteristically long post.
