I am thinking about deleting some of the more experimental scenes and replacing them with variations of the more popular/classic DJ FX. 

Obscure FX would be FX like the half-time 4x bar loop with phaser, Mix/Match looper, etc. 

What do you think?

7/22/2022 The poll hath spoken.

I will keep the current template as an experimental tree that will come packaged with the final template. I will likely revisit this version and add more diverse and strange FX to it later but for now my focus will be improving and adding more traditional FX into the 2.0 final. DJ template and 1 stereo input template are in the works.

I love the more experimental and weird FX. Standard effects are necessary and great, but also fairly easy to program if somebody wants to replace the weird stuff. Coming up with weird stuff that works, on the other hand, takes a lot of experience.

The template is great, yet everyone will want to (that is : have to) tune it to their setup anyway. Having more variations of the standard FX would not help, we'd still ave to tune them, and scrap the other imilar ones IMHO. So I would prefer more exploration and weird fx. Use your knowldge and creativity. More scenes end up up being extra banks anyway, that I pick parts from to set a new song with the 4 I need for that song.

I think the most experimental ones won't get much use in daily practice so I support making a more practical template with good variations of most used fx. The voting seems to go in that direction too. When do you plan on making it? looking forward!

First off, great work on all the templates! They've helped me understand the OT a lot more than i originally did. Personally i find the more experimental stuff harder to use in my music, but very useful to see how they re made. +1 for MK2 DJ FX Template as Joseph suggested.

Yeah. Please make it another bank with different parts in the same project, it's already (not) fun enough to copy parts and patterns within a single project. :P
