In this video I show you how you can use your Octatrack as a Multi-Drum machine, in other words you can play one pattern but be able to switch to an entirely new set of sounds on the fly.

This video should also serve as a bit of a parts tutorial for those who are struggling to wrap their heads around that.

You can download the project from this post and have those classics drum machines on your Octatrack too!

Man, been dealing with family :( but great things are that I've been switching and updating a lot of things in my studio and most importantly cooking new joints, so you guys should see me back on on the full mode for Fall then the rest of the year and so forth!!!!! But YO! I've been loving all your new tracks man! You've been banging serious joints! So stoked! ;) and of course all your videos are still the illest Thank god! Love you my dude and serious, I miss you big time...

Awesome video as usual Matt!!! Thank you for sharing your knowledge!!! After 1 year and 4 months with my OT, I can safely say that your videos have been the most useful and entertaining... I'm still trying to understand completely the PARTS section of my OT, but I can seem to fully grasp the complete concept behind this Wonder feature. I use parts, I've adapted my live set to your performance template, but in the past I have struggled to put parts into practice on my own. Any videos or articles that you may recommend? Thanks in advance!! And thank you for you work🔥

ezbot

Hmmm, I'd maybe go with Cuckoo's vid and just jump to parts. I am not sure, I've not seen very much content covering parts.

YouTube creator Messy Desk made a decent video explaining Parts....
