A fun little arrangement of the song that Paul McCartney himself calls his "favourite Beatles tune".

Such a strong melody with some interesting harmonic twists and turns that work very well with this simple, classical finger style approach.

Let me know in the comments if you have a go at this one.. I'd love to hear some more of your performances of these pieces! 🙏🏻

Here, There & Everywhere - The Beatles (finger style arrangement for classical guitar)

Click here to purchase my transcription for this piece.. https://smogfalls.gumroad.com/l/cvrvy This (old) guitar, is new to me.. it's a birth year (1985) Yamaha classical and it's really got a beautiful tone! I've been obsessively brushing up on my finger style playing on this thing since getting it just a week ago. For sure I will be featuring this guitar in future videos. Recorded with a lovely 4038 ribbon mic from "Open plan recording". If you’d like to support the work I do, feel free to buy me a coffee at this link; https://www.buymeacoffee.com/alexfarran I post most days on insta: https://www.instagram.com/alexfarranguitar #guitar #guitarist #classicalmusic #classicalguitar #thebeatles #paulmccartney #flamenco #revolver #fingerstyle #guitarra #guitarsolo #yamaha #vintageguitar #newguitarday #ribbonmic

YES!

Now this is the kind of mid-morning peace and beauty I need. Very grounding. Grateful for this one, Alex.

Loved it hey what is the guitar and string(set) you used? Thanks.

Alex Farran Guitar

Thanks Mark, glad you liked it! The guitar is an old birth year Yamaha (1985) that I picked up around a year ago very cheaply. Great little guitar! The strings are whatever came with it, but when I do restring I'll likely go with the D'addario Pro Arte hard tension set as I've always gone with those in the past.

Thanks, Alex. Beautifully played and arranged. Definitely one to keep simple, fingerstyle players tend to overdo this one a bit. Another one for my List of Things to Learn here :)

Thanks Steve, glad you enjoyed it. Nice to keep things minimal on this one for sure 👌🏻

Allan Rodrick

Stellar arrangement of a stellar song by a stellar performer! Is there anything this guy can’t play and play well?

Matthew Morris

Really nice, will have a go at this. Love the beatles

Hi Alex, where you mention, 'I'd love to hear some more of your performances of these pieces!', well I am up for it, although I would want to contribute a more challenging piece, unexplored as yet, but in keeping with the spirit and genres you've covered so far.

James

We had a string quartet play this as my wife (then narrowly fiancée) and I walked down the aisle.

Ok, I just ordered a USB microphone today. I am thinking to upload to YouTube and send you the link.

Marshall Smith

This piece it the perfect level of difficulty for me to learn. Thanks' Alex!

Hi Alex, as promised, here's my first attempt at recording Here, There and Everywhere. It's just a phone recording but I'd like to record it properly once I've got it down properly. So far I'm just pleased to have got through the "I know I need never care dah dah dah dah dah dah dah" line without crashing :) Any tips/feedback will be very welcome! https://youtu.be/mX5ZhkszDP8

Love this. I would like to ask you for some fingerpicking lessons to help jump start my fingerpicking ability.
