Following on from my dog walking video the other day, I had a few comments and messages about the countryside where I live, so I thought I’d share a handful of photos I’ve taken on my local walks. I feel very fortunate to have this on my doorstep. The first two photos are literally from my street. It’s always a pleasure walking past that view in the morning and watching the fields change colour throughout the seasons.

Anyway, not a guitar post, but I do always enjoy sharing a bit of life outside of music with you guys too.

I’m Canadian but my roots are in Wales and England. Whenever I’m in your part of the world I feel like I’m home. Beautiful Alex. No wonder Rosie is a happy dog!

Alex, these are superb shots. Is that with your phone or have you mastered photography to add to all your talents? Where’s the canal shot?

Beautiful. I am Canadian, growing up on the prairies. Many of my family members were farmers so these scenes remind me of my younger days, working on my uncle's farms. My wife and I are planning a self guided tour of the British Isles, possibly next spring and I would love to see your village and meet you in person if we have the opportunity.

Thank you my friend! All iPhone shots! The canal spot is Barrow Upon Soar.. I’m certain you’ll have been there.

Your photos inspired a sense that all of us are part of a community here in your space. So nice of you to share. Your village is beautiful--you are so lucky to live in such a gorgeous place! My grandparents are from Great Britain. Which enables me to apply for citizenship there. I live at the opposite end of the earth on wild Vancouver Island--close to this place https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UoUFzyZojR4

Looks like you’re leading a peaceful life. They’re in the countryside. Thanks for sharing the photos. I don’t know if you’re going to be able to take the sphere in Las Vegas but the Eagles are exceptional ha ha. Thanks again for sharing.

So the Dirty Delta Blues doesn´t have to come from cottonfields. Wheatfields will do !

Gert De Groof

Well it seems like if the music business doesn’t work out for ya, you can always become a landscape photographer 😄

Thanks Finn, I'm glad you got that feeling. I do genuinely think of you all as friends of mine and I'm so proud of this community. Wow, you live in an incredible place buddy, breathtaking!

That would be great. If I am able to work in the time would you be up for giving me a lesson in person? I certainly understand if you prefer a meet up outside of your studio.
