We learn a chord melody for Vince Guaraldi’s beautiful “Great Pumpkin Waltz” from the Charlie Brown Halloween Special. If you haven’t checked Vince’s soundtracks for the Charlie Brown seasonal specials, I highly recommend you go and explore them. His most famous piece is undoubtably “Christmas Time is Here” (from the Christmas special soundtrack), which is an incredibly pretty, yet somber Christmas themed jazz standard! I plan to do a lesson on that one too, but as it’s October, we’ll start with my favourite track of his Halloween special record.. I hope you enjoy the lesson. Please drop a like on tne video, and comment down below if you enjoyed this lesson 🙏🏻🧡 I would highly recommend downloading the lesson materials provided at the link above.. all of the topics covered in this lesson are typed up nice and neat and provided in both guitar pro and PDF formats. Having these to hand whilst following along with the video will certainly make things much easier to absorb.
