A modern classic in the Latin/surf World. Full of great playing and great tones. When this came out in the early 2000’s I was a little obsessed with it and must’ve worked out every song! Will certainly be featuring it in a lesson someday soon.

Alex, thank you so much for this recommendation, it is just what I needed this morning. Beautiful music is so nice, I’m at the beginning stages of creating a catalog of tunes that I could sit in a dark corner and play solo or with simple loops and Secret Love seems like a great piece to add. I’m loving learning chord melodies, thanks again for the inspiration and great lessons 🙏🏼

Listening to this album - I am imagining being on Holiday in Hawaii, sitting at a Tiki bar at sunset watching the waves roll in. This album is being played in the background. That would be a nice night out. Agree that Secret Love would form another great lesson of yours in future. I really like the slide 🎸 work.

Found this while doing a dive through the back catalog. I love this album! Would very much appreciate the Farran analysis on any of them, but especially Drume Negrita. I've played along with it in my own limited way, but I know I'm missing out on a ton. Now back to finding out how far down this rabbit hole goes.
