Non ho scelto Sofia B per la perfezione del suo corpo, né per pose sfrontate o patinate da diva sexy da milioni di likes.

L’ho scelta, semmai, per l’esatto opposto: per la presenza, per la naturalezza, per quella espressività dolce e pura che non ha bisogno di gridare, ma che si lascia contemplare in silenzio.

Lo shooting stesso non poteva che essere costruito su questi presupposti: un progetto artistico, introspettivo, concettuale, dove il corpo e il volto si fanno significato più che materia, dove il gesto conta più della forma estetica.

Sospendere, Proteggere, Attraversare.Questi tre set hanno il loro cardine proprio nel verbo del titolo, e Sofia B interpreta con drammaticità e raccoglimento l’essenza stessa di questo lavoro, di cui vado molto fiero.

In questo Full Shooting, che raccoglie tutte le fotografie realizzate in quella sessione, trova spazio anche un set inedito, composto soltanto da ritratti emozionali, i cui sguardi e accennati sorrisi completano un ciclo narrativo che fa dell’emozione, suggerita e recepita, il centro di tutto.

Questo shooting non è per sguardi frettolosi.Merita il suo tempo.

Good morning my dear Patreons!

I did not choose Sofia B for the perfection of her body, nor for bold poses or polished diva-like attitudes made for millions of likes.

I chose her, rather, for the exact opposite: for her presence, her naturalness, for that sweet and pure expressiveness that does not need to shout, but quietly invites contemplation.

The shooting itself could only be built on these foundations: an artistic, introspective, conceptual project, where body and face become meaning more than matter, where gesture matters more than aesthetic form.

Suspending, Protecting, Crossing.These three sets are rooted in the very verb of their title, and Sofia B interprets the essence of this work with drama and quiet intensity, in a way that makes me deeply proud of it.

In this Full Shooting, which gathers all the photographs taken during that session, there is also space for an unreleased set, composed only of emotional portraits, whose glances and hinted smiles complete a narrative cycle that places suggested and received emotion at the center of everything.

This shooting is not made for hurried eyes.It deserves time.

Buongiorno miei carissimi FANATICs!

Rivedere questo shooting nella sua interezza mi ha fatto capire ancora di più quanto Sofia B sia stata, per me, una presenza speciale.

Perché osservati uno alla volta, Sospendere, Proteggere e Attraversare raccontano ciascuno un momento, un gesto, una tensione diversa. Ma raccolti insieme, dentro un unico flusso, acquistano ancora più forza e diventano davvero le tappe di un percorso coerente, intimo, profondamente umano.

C’è qualcosa di molto raro in questo lavoro: il fatto che nulla cerchi di impressionare con facilità, eppure tutto riesca a lasciare il segno. Il corpo di Sofia, il suo volto, il modo in cui abita il gesto e il silenzio, fanno sì che queste fotografie non chiedano di essere semplicemente guardate, ma accompagnate.

Ed è forse proprio questo che mi rende così fiero di questo shooting: la sensazione che ogni set abbia custodito una parte del suo linguaggio, fino a comporre, alla fine, qualcosa di più grande della somma delle singole immagini.

Per questo ho voluto che in questo Full Shooting trovasse spazio anche un piccolo set inedito di soli ritratti emozionali. Quasi una coda silenziosa, o forse il completamento più naturale possibile di tutto il percorso. Sguardi, accenni di sorriso, presenza pura. Niente di gridato. E proprio per questo, a mio avviso, necessario.

Sono davvero contento di consegnarvi questo lavoro nella sua forma completa.

E sono curioso di sapere se, visto tutto insieme, questo shooting vi arriva in maniera diversa rispetto ai singoli set letti e guardati separatamente.

Good morning my dear FANATICs!

Seeing this shooting again in its entirety made me understand even more how much Sofia B was, for me, a special presence.

Because taken one by one, Suspending, Protecting and Crossing each tell a different moment, a different gesture, a different tension. But gathered together within a single flow, they gain even more strength and truly become the stages of a coherent, intimate, deeply human journey.

There is something very rare in this work: the fact that nothing tries to impress too easily, and yet everything manages to leave a mark. Sofia’s body, her face, the way she inhabits gesture and silence, make these photographs demand not just to be looked at, but to be accompanied.

And perhaps that is exactly what makes me so proud of this shooting: the feeling that each set preserved a part of her language, until together they formed something greater than the sum of the individual images.

That is why I wanted this Full Shooting to include a small unreleased set made only of emotional portraits. Almost a silent coda, or perhaps the most natural completion of the entire path. Glances, hinted smiles, pure presence. Nothing shouted. And precisely for that reason, necessary.

I am truly happy to give you this work in its complete form.

And I am curious to know whether, seen as a whole, this shooting reaches you differently compared to the individual sets read and watched separately.
