Ladies & Gentlemen, vi presento Veronica.

E no, non volevo farlo con una semplice fotografia scelta a freddo, perché questa volta il primo impatto meritava qualcosa di più vivo: il momento in cui una nuova modella entra nello studio, guarda gli outfit, prende confidenza con la camera, comincia a giocare con le idee e si rivolge direttamente anche ai miei FANATICs.

Veronica è arrivata quasi all’improvviso, con uno shooting organizzato in pochissimo tempo, ma è bastato davvero poco per capire che davanti all’obiettivo sapeva già benissimo come muoversi. Bella, spigliata, professionale, curiosa, con quella naturalezza di chi non aspetta solo indicazioni, ma entra subito nel clima e partecipa alla costruzione del set.

Questo Cinematic Tuesday non è il backstage completo di tutto lo shooting.

È il primo incontro.

Il primo ingresso.

Il primo momento in cui Veronica comincia davvero a prendere forma dentro questa pagina.

Ladies & Gentlemen, let me introduce you to Veronica.

And no, I did not want to do it with a simple photograph chosen cold, because this time the first impact deserved something more alive: the moment when a new model enters the studio, looks at the outfits, gets familiar with the camera, starts playing with the ideas and speaks directly to my FANATICs as well.

Veronica arrived almost suddenly, with a shooting organized in a very short time, but it took very little to understand that she already knew exactly how to move in front of the lens. Beautiful, confident, professional, curious, with that naturalness of someone who does not simply wait for directions, but immediately enters the mood and takes part in the creation of the set.

This Cinematic Tuesday is not the complete backstage of the whole shooting.

It is the first meeting.

The first entrance.

The first moment in which Veronica truly begins to take shape inside this page.

Buongiorno miei carissimi FANATICs!

Oggi non volevo mostrarvi semplicemente Veronica in posa.

Volevo farvi vedere il momento in cui entra davvero dentro lo studio.

Questo Cinematic Tuesday è diverso dal solito proprio per questo: non è il backstage completo di un singolo set, non è ancora il racconto integrale di tutto quello che abbiamo realizzato durante lo shooting, ma il primo capitolo di una nuova presenza che, secondo me, può portarci parecchie cose interessanti nelle prossime settimane.

Prima ancora delle fotografie, c’è sempre un momento che per me conta moltissimo: quello in cui capisco se una modella riesce ad abitare lo studio, se si lascia coinvolgere, se non resta semplicemente lì ad aspettare indicazioni ma comincia a partecipare davvero alla costruzione dell’immagine.

Con Veronica quel momento è arrivato molto presto.

È entrata, ha iniziato a guardare gli outfit, a ragionare con me sui mood, a capire che direzione potevamo prendere, e soprattutto non si è chiusa davanti alla camera. Anzi: ha parlato, ha giocato, si è rivolta direttamente anche a voi FANATICs, entrando subito nel clima della pagina con una naturalezza che mi ha fatto davvero piacere.

Questa per me è una cosa importante.

Mi piace quando una modella capisce che qui non c’è soltanto uno shooting da fare e poi basta. C’è una community dall’altra parte dello schermo, ci siete voi che seguite i set, i backstage, le trasformazioni, le idee che nascono e cambiano mentre le stiamo costruendo. Veronica questa cosa l’ha intuita subito, e infatti nel video si sente: non è una presenza distante, non è una figura muta dentro un backstage, ma una ragazza che entra nella giornata, ci si mette dentro e comincia a farne parte.

Nel video vedrete l’arrivo, la preparazione, la scelta degli outfit, qualche frammento dei primi set, qualche momento più spontaneo e quel clima iniziale che per me dice già moltissimo. Ho girato parecchio materiale, anche con più punti di ripresa, proprio perché sto cercando sempre di più di farvi vedere non solo la posa, ma anche tutto quello che succede intorno alla fotografia: l’idea che nasce, la modella che si prepara, un dettaglio scelto al volo, una battuta, una prova, il momento in cui capisci che qualcosa può funzionare.

Con Veronica c’è tanto da ordinare, montare e pubblicare nel modo giusto, quindi non aveva senso bruciare tutto in un unico video. Mi interessava cominciare da qui, dal suo ingresso, dal primo contatto tra lei, lo studio, la camera e voi.

Dopo un mese pieno di archivi, ritorni, Full Shooting e contenuti recuperati, mi piace aprire luglio con qualcosa che sta nascendo adesso. Un volto nuovo, una nuova energia, uno shooting appena realizzato e la sensazione concreta che la pagina non stia solo riportando alla luce il passato, ma stia preparando il prossimo capitolo.

Questo è l’inizio del percorso di Veronica.

Guardate il video e ditemi che impressione vi ha fatto vederla entrare per la prima volta nello studio.

Io, già durante quelle prime riprese, ho pensato una cosa molto semplice: con lei non avrei avuto soltanto delle belle fotografie da pubblicare.

Avrei avuto una nuova storia da raccontare. 🎥

Good morning my dear FANATICs!

Today I did not simply want to show you Veronica posing.

I wanted to show you the moment when she truly enters the studio.

This Cinematic Tuesday is different from the usual ones exactly for this reason: it is not the complete backstage of a single set, it is not yet the full story of everything we created during the shooting, but the first chapter of a new presence that, in my opinion, can bring us many interesting things in the coming weeks.

Before the photographs, there is always a moment that matters a lot to me: the moment when I understand whether a model can truly inhabit the studio, whether she lets herself be involved, whether she does not simply stand there waiting for directions, but starts taking part in the construction of the image.

With Veronica, that moment arrived very quickly.

She entered, started looking at the outfits, thinking with me about the moods, understanding what direction we could take, and above all she did not close herself off in front of the camera. Quite the opposite: she talked, played, spoke directly to you FANATICs, immediately entering the atmosphere of the page with a naturalness that I truly appreciated.

This is important to me.

I love when a model understands that here there is not only a shooting to do and then nothing else. There is a real community on the other side of the screen, there are you following the sets, the backstage, the transformations, the ideas that are born and change while we are building them. Veronica understood this immediately, and you can feel it in the video: she is not a distant presence, not a silent figure inside a backstage, but a girl who enters the day, gets involved and starts becoming part of it.

In the video you will see her arrival, the preparation, the outfit choices, a few fragments of the first sets, some more spontaneous moments and that initial atmosphere that, to me, already says a lot. I filmed quite a lot of material, also with multiple camera angles, because I am increasingly trying to show you not only the pose, but everything that happens around the photograph: the idea being born, the model getting ready, a detail chosen on the spot, a joke, a test, the moment when you understand that something can work.

With Veronica, there is a lot to organize, edit and publish in the right way, so it made no sense to burn everything in a single video. I wanted to begin here, from her entrance, from the first contact between her, the studio, the camera and you.

After a month full of archives, returns, Full Shootings and recovered content, I like opening July with something that is being born right now. A new face, a new energy, a shooting just created, and the concrete feeling that the page is not only bringing the past back to light, but preparing the next chapter.

This is the beginning of Veronica’s journey.

Already during those first recordings, I thought something very simple: with her, I would not only have beautiful photographs to publish.
