Buongiorno miei carissimi FANATICs!

Oggi arriva Morgana – RAW & Passionate, un set che secondo me va guardato esattamente per quello che è: vivo, istintivo, poco addomesticato.

Ve lo dico con sincerità: non è un capitolo costruito sulla precisione chirurgica. Alcune immagini sono meno pulite, più reattive, più prese sul momento, e in certi scatti si sente chiaramente che il set non stava seguendo una struttura rigida.

Ma con Morgana succede spesso proprio questo.

Quando inizia a muoversi e a lasciarsi andare, la mia attenzione si sposta completamente su di lei: sull’espressione, sulle forme, sulla sua disinvoltura, su quel modo molto diretto che ha di stare davanti all’obiettivo. A quel punto la fotografia diventa meno “pulita” e più reattiva. Meno controllata, ma anche più vera.

Morgana attraversa il set con una sicurezza che rende secondario tutto il resto: il taglio preciso, il fondale perfetto, la composizione impeccabile. In alcuni momenti sembra davvero che sia lei a dettare il ritmo, e io a seguirla cercando di non perdere l’espressione giusta, il gesto giusto, il momento in cui l’immagine si accende.

Questo è anche il bello dei set creativi quando non li chiudi dentro una gabbia troppo rigida.

Per me RAW & Passionate è esattamente questo: un capitolo non perfetto, ma pieno di vita.

Sono curioso di sapere cosa ne pensate: preferite i set più puliti e controllati, oppure vi piace anche questa direzione più ruvida, istintiva, passionale, dove la modella finisce per guidare lo shooting quasi più del fotografo?

Good morning my dear FANATICs!

Today comes Morgana – RAW & Passionate, a set that, in my opinion, should be seen exactly for what it is: alive, instinctive, not too domesticated.

I will say it honestly: this is not a chapter built on surgical precision. Some images are less polished, more reactive, more caught in the moment, and in certain shots you can clearly feel that the set was not following a rigid structure.

But with Morgana, this often happens.

When she starts moving and letting herself go, my attention shifts completely to her: to her expression, her forms, her ease, that very direct way she has of standing in front of the lens. At that point, photography becomes less “clean” and more reactive. Less controlled, but also more real.

Morgana moves through the set with a confidence that makes everything else feel secondary: the perfect crop, the flawless background, the impeccable composition. In some moments, it really feels like she is setting the rhythm, and I am the one following her, trying not to miss the right expression, the right gesture, the moment when the image comes alive.

This is also the beauty of creative sets when you do not lock them inside a cage that is too rigid.

For me, RAW & Passionate is exactly this: an imperfect chapter, but full of life.

I am curious to know what you think: do you prefer cleaner and more controlled sets, or do you also enjoy this rougher, more instinctive, more passionate direction, where the model almost ends up guiding the shooting more than the photographer?
