Buongiorno miei carissimi Patreons,

oggi, per From the Archives, voglio riportare al centro una modella che chi è arrivato dopo dovrebbe recuperare subito: Penelope.

Perché Penelope è deliziosa.

Bella, solare, spigliata, con un sorriso che arriva immediatamente e una naturalezza rara davanti alla fotocamera. Una di quelle presenze capaci di passare dalla dolcezza più spontanea a un’immagine molto più sensuale nel giro di pochi scatti, senza perdere leggerezza, freschezza e complicità.

Ed è proprio questo che rende la sua Full Collection così interessante.

All’epoca Penelope non era una modella abituata a questo tipo di set. Si è fidata, si è lasciata guidare, ha scoperto poco alla volta quanto potesse funzionare davanti all’obiettivo e, scatto dopo scatto, ha regalato immagini sempre più libere, intense e sorprendenti.

Sono fotografie che appartengono a una fase speciale del mio percorso: il periodo prima dello studio, quando allestivo set homemade nel mio appartamento, tra fondali, luci, tessuti e tanta voglia di ricominciare davvero a costruire qualcosa.

E proprio in quel contesto, Penelope è stata una delle sorprese più belle.

Dentro la collection c’è la sua dolcezza, ma anche il suo lato più magnetico. Ci sono sorrisi veri, momenti di gioco, cambi di atmosfera, set diversi, immagini più morbide e altre molto più audaci, sempre con quella naturalezza che la rendeva così piacevole da fotografare.

Ha partecipato anche al progetto THE BODY, affidandosi al mio sguardo con una disponibilità che, per una ragazza agli inizi, non era affatto scontata.

Chi era già nei FANATICs in quel periodo la ricorderà bene.

Chi invece l’ha persa, ha una collection da recuperare adesso.

Perché Penelope non è soltanto un vecchio capitolo dell’archivio: è una delle presenze più dolci, spontanee e sensuali della mia prima fase fotografica.

Good morning, my dear Patreons,

today, for From the Archives, I want to bring back a model that anyone who joined the page later should definitely catch up on: Penelope.

Because Penelope is simply lovely.

Beautiful, sunny, playful, with an effortless smile and a very natural presence in front of the camera. She had that rare ability to move, in just a few shots, from something sweet and spontaneous to something much more sensual, without ever losing her freshness, lightness or sense of complicity.

And that is exactly what makes her Full Collection so special.

At the time, Penelope was still new to this kind of shoot. She trusted me, let herself be guided, and little by little discovered how beautifully she could work in front of the lens. Shot after shot, she opened up more, became more confident, and gave me images that still feel incredibly fresh and surprising today.

These photographs belong to a very special chapter of my journey: the time before I had my own studio, when I was still creating homemade sets inside my apartment, with backdrops, lights, fabrics and a very strong desire to build something serious again.

And in that phase, Penelope was one of the most beautiful surprises.

Inside the collection, you will find her sweetness, but also her more magnetic side. Real smiles, playful moments, changes of mood, different setups, softer images and bolder ones too — always with that natural charm that made her such a pleasure to photograph.

She also took part in THE BODY, trusting my eye with an openness that, for someone still at the beginning, was anything but obvious.

Those who were already inside the FANATICs back then will remember her well.
