Restano la materia, le linee, il volume, la grazia nella sua forma più pura. Una figura che diventa quasi scultura, una presenza anonima che non ha bisogno di volto o nome per raccontare bellezza, equilibrio e forza.

Ma la domanda, questa volta, è inevitabile.

Buongiorno miei carissimi FANATICs!

Oggi arriva THE BODY – XIV, il quattordicesimo capitolo di una delle raccolte più importanti e riconoscibili della pagina.

Come sapete, THE BODY è un progetto a cui tengo moltissimo, perché lavora in una direzione diversa rispetto ai set più narrativi, scenografici o costruiti intorno alla personalità della modella. Qui il punto è togliere tutto quello che può distrarre: il volto, il nome, il personaggio, il contesto.

Resta soltanto la forma.

Resta il modo in cui una postura cambia la percezione dell’immagine, il modo in cui la luce scolpisce i volumi, il modo in cui un corpo può diventare quasi scultura senza bisogno di raccontare altro.

Questo capitolo, però, porta con sé anche un piccolo gioco.

Secondo voi a chi appartiene il Corpo XIV?

Guardate le linee, la struttura, l’equilibrio della figura, il modo in cui occupa l’inquadratura. Il bello di THE BODY è proprio questo: anche quando togliamo tutto, qualcosa resta. Ogni corpo entra nella serie con una presenza diversa, anche dentro lo stesso linguaggio visivo.

Questa volta lascio parlare solo l’immagine.

Voglio vedere se qualcuno di voi riesce davvero a riconoscerla solo dalla forma, dalla postura e dall’energia dell’immagine.

Good morning my dear FANATICs!

Today comes THE BODY – XIV, the fourteenth chapter of one of the most important and recognizable collections on the page.

As you know, THE BODY is a project I care about deeply, because it moves in a different direction compared to the more narrative, scenic or personality-driven sets. Here, the point is to remove everything that could distract: the face, the name, the character, the context.

Only form remains.

What remains is the way a posture changes the perception of an image, the way light sculpts volumes, the way a body can become almost sculpture without needing to tell anything else.

This chapter, though, also brings a small game with it.

Who do you think Body XIV belongs to?

Look at the lines, the structure, the balance of the figure, the way it occupies the frame. That is exactly what I love about THE BODY: even when everything is removed, something still remains. Every body enters the series with a different presence, even within the same visual language.

This time, I will let the image speak for itself.
