La prima volta che Nerea si è trovata davanti alle luci, si vedeva ancora tutta la timidezza di chi sta entrando in un mondo nuovo.

Ed è proprio questo a rendere queste 47 fotografie così interessanti: non mostrano soltanto tre set, ma i primi passi reali di una giovane modella esordiente che, scatto dopo scatto, comincia a fidarsi, a sciogliersi, a guardare la camera con più sicurezza.

Si parte da ritratti semplici, quasi prudenti, poi la camicia scivola, le mani cercano il volto, il corpo diventa più presente, fino alla lingerie del terzo set, dove Nerea appare già molto più consapevole.

The first time Nerea found herself in front of the lights, you could still see all the shyness of someone stepping into a completely new world.

And that is exactly what makes these 47 photographs so interesting: they do not simply show three sets, but the first real steps of a young debut model who, shot after shot, begins to trust, loosen up, and look at the camera with more confidence.

It starts with simple, almost cautious portraits, then the shirt slips, the hands move around the face and neck, the body becomes more present, up to the lingerie of the third set, where Nerea already appears much more aware.

Buongiorno miei carissimi FANATICs!

Oggi arrivano finalmente le prime fotografie ufficiali di Nerea sulla pagina: 47 immagini raccolte dai suoi primi tre set.

Chi ha visto First Contact ha già intuito quanto questo shooting sia stato diverso da quelli realizzati con modelle più esperte. Nerea è arrivata in studio con l’imbarazzo naturale di chi non ha ancora confidenza con luci, macchina fotografica, pose e direzione. Proprio per questo ho scelto di partire piano, senza forzare nulla: ritratti semplici, gesti piccoli, indicazioni chiare, il tempo necessario per farle capire che poteva fidarsi.

Il primo set nasce così, quasi come un ingresso graduale. La camicia, la spallina che scende, le mani intorno al collo e al viso, lo sguardo che all’inizio cerca ancora un punto d’appoggio e poi comincia poco a poco a diventare più presente. Nel secondo set il rapporto con la figura si fa più libero, più naturale, meno trattenuto. Nel terzo, con la lingerie, abbiamo aggiunto un passaggio ulteriore, ma restando dentro un ritmo che fosse ancora giusto per lei.

La cosa bella, per me, è proprio vedere questa progressione senza percepirla mai come qualcosa di imposto. Nerea non viene trascinata dentro lo shooting: ci entra un passo alla volta. E ogni piccolo cambio di atteggiamento diventa importante, perché racconta una conquista reale davanti all’obiettivo.

Queste immagini non sono soltanto tre cambi di set. Sono il primo capitolo di una trasformazione.

Più avanti arriveranno momenti decisamente più intensi dello shooting, e anche il lavoro fatto per THE BODY, ma volevo iniziare da qui: dal punto in cui Nerea lascia lentamente l’incertezza iniziale e comincia a diventare una presenza fotografica vera.

Sono curioso di sapere cosa ne pensate di questo debutto e se anche voi percepite, dentro queste 47 immagini, quel passaggio progressivo dalla timidezza iniziale a una sicurezza sempre più visibile.

Good morning my dear FANATICs!

Today, Nerea’s first official photographs finally arrive on the page: 47 images collected from her first three sets.

Those who watched First Contact have already understood how different this shooting was from the ones created with more experienced models. Nerea arrived in the studio with the natural embarrassment of someone who is not yet familiar with lights, camera, posing and direction. That is exactly why I chose to start slowly, without forcing anything: simple portraits, small gestures, clear directions, and the time she needed to understand that she could trust the process.

The first set was born like this, almost as a gradual entrance. The shirt, the lowered shoulder strap, the hands around the neck and face, the gaze that at first still searches for a point of support and then slowly begins to become more present. In the second set, the relationship with the figure becomes freer, more natural, less restrained. In the third, with lingerie, we added another step, while still keeping a rhythm that felt right for her.

What I find beautiful is seeing this progression without ever feeling like something imposed. Nerea is not pushed into the shooting: she enters it one step at a time. And every small change in attitude becomes important, because it tells a real conquest in front of the lens.

These images are not just three changes of set. They are the first chapter of a transformation.

Later on, more intense moments from the shooting will arrive, as well as the work created for THE BODY, but I wanted to begin here: from the point where Nerea slowly leaves the initial uncertainty behind and starts becoming a true photographic presence.
