Lazy? I relate to Luke's brother. What do you prefer? Sheep or Bunnies? 10:27 -- All those cat puns are pure localization and made up. Anytime she ends her sentence with "nya" they turn the full sentence into a cat pun. If it was the actual script in the anime, i would have liked it, but since it was just made up by the translators for the cute cat lulz, i hate it. Mostly trust issues. :(

Welf actually making a magic sword is a really big deal, especially if you remember how much he despises magic swords, and all of the reasons why. The fact that he happened to make an indestructible magic sword, while I don’t want to say it’s an accomplished life goal, it at least makes magic swords more tolerable to him.

As far as the Coliseum… if you’re familiar with what exactly Ais went through in order to level up from 5 to 6, you will understand just how foreboding this cliffhanger really is… and I may talk about it more next week after we get through that episode.

I'm shocked that all the waitresses at our favorite restaurant are level 4 adventurers. They have the BEST behaved customers... at least, the survivors are behaved.

So something I want to add to this episode that is only lightly touched on in the anime but is actually somewhat important. Most of the elves like Ryu who were raised in a more conservative elven society hate being touched, to the point where they will unintentionally lash out out people who touch them, even if they are familiar with them. As far as I remember, there are only three people Ryu has ever been fine with being touched by: Alize, Syr, and Bell. (She will let other people like the members of her familia or the other waitress touch her, but it generally makes her uncomfortable). So the fact that she reached out to grab bells hand is actually kind of a big deal. The second thing is that there is an AMV that I recommend checking out (whether by yourself or in a video) at the end of this arc. Yeah the elves are kinda racist tbh even other elves will get offended on another's behalf for being touched against their will and as for me I'll recommend watching the full opening of S5 they did a really cool MV on Gre4nboyz channel and if you watch up to the 3rd minute there are no spoilers but after that as long as you've watched up to think episode 5 of S5 you're good for the rest to me its basically a love letter to the series in fact I'm gonna watch it right now

So I know people give shit for not wanting to loot the dead adventurers but its kinda different when you have literal gods walking among you and know there's an actual afterlife and slight SPOILER also the reason he was so harsh in trying to get lots was because his other arm is kinda mush its basically being held together by the scarf and I can't believe Luke's gonna make me watch that again it never get easier no matter how many times

It was always a good chuckle when he first reacted to the openings and he was like this seems like a cheeky anime just like slime now I haven't kept up with slime but 1st season for sure matches that and possibly more however I felt danmachi always had a level of darkness till S4 turned it up to an 11

I think its kinda funny Luke was asking before if they'd be going back to the dungeon and now is basically sick of it but I get him when do our boys and girls get a break because outside of episode one where they were prepping for this journey its literally been all dungeon this season even our chill episode was on the dungeon safe floor 18

A bit of explanation about Welf's new sword for anybody who is interested. It is a magic sword that will not break. It is different from the others because magic swords are like tools with a charge bar. They only have so much energy stored in them, and once it is used up the item breaks. Welf's newest sword is different because instead of relying on energy that is stored in the sword, like a charge bar, it relies on the mana of the person swinging the sword. It is basically a tool that will allow anybody to utilize the spell coded into the sword as long as they have enough mana. Because of this, the sword doesn't run out of energy and will not break. Some explanation about Welf's blood. His ability to make magic swords comes from his family/blood. In the entire book of short stores that the anime left out, it was explained that his ancestor saved a fairy. At some point later, his ancestor became injured and the fairy saved him by sharing some of its blood. It is from that blood that was shared that the Crozzos gained the ability to forge magic swords. The combination of his skills and talent as a smith, his desire to help his friends, his wish which has always been to forge a weapon better than magic swords that won't break, and his blood being forged into the sword, created an entirely new creation which has never before been accomplished. Also, a bit of info on the Juggernaut from the book. It is an interesting book because part of it is written from the perspective of the Juggernaut. When it was first born, its thoughts were along the lines of "I'm the best. I am the apex predator. My body is optimized to kill all of this trash inside of mother...etc" Whenever that collar was put on, it was not strong enough to brainwash the creature, but it was strong enough to mute the voice of the dungeon in its head and allow it to think for itself. Right before they fell to the 37th floor and bell was about to land a critical hit, it felt its instincts telling it to run. It became angry and something could make it feel fear, so it chased Bell down to the 37th floor against the voice of the dungeon telling it to stay on the 27th. Furthermore, when it started attacking monsters on the 37th, the book described the voice of the dungeon "Screaming inside of its head telling it to stop killing the monsters and begging it not to eat the magic stones", but he was able to ignore it because of the collar.
