Pausing the video to comment so maybe you arrive to this later in the reaction, but just in case: Cowboy Like Me is essentially about two people who have spent their lives conning others in and out of relationships who then meet and fall in love with each other.

I cannot listen to this song without crying. Sometimes a little, sometimes a lot. However, it’s always a good cry. I’ve lost both of my grandmothers and, while I think of them often, these lyrics just pull my heartstrings.💜❤️

Also, when you get a chance go back to look at the credits on Marjorie. Taylor credited her with backing vocals , and since the song was part of the Eras setlist, Marjorie finally had the opportunity to sing in the biggest stadiums around the world. <3

This is one of the things that always gets me about Marjorie as a song. In the lyric video you watch her get married and give up singing and have a baby and grandchildren. It’s just so beautiful that she included her as the backing vocals. It was absolutely beautiful and spine tingling live too.

I'm the same way. I can listen to this song if I don't "listen" to this song. I was super close to my maternal grandmother who I lost in 2012. I still feel her all around, always with me as I navigate marriage and kids and life in general without her. This song destroyed me hearing it live at the eras tour. I was crying too hard to sing along. I miss my grandmother so much. Taylor created a beautiful tribute to Marjorie.
