Ngl, yeah you miss a lot of stuff when reading twitch chat and the stuff you miss is usually important, twitch chat actually pointing it out is good, ya know, if you want to keep track of the story and whatnot. But if you got something to read, I'm sure no one will mind if you pause the episode for a bit until you can actually keep most of your attention to it. You said you didn't think too deep into it when Kazuma bowed to Yato, well it has deeper implications which you're not supposed to know yet but saying it made no impression to you it may as well mean you missed it cuz Kazuma is essentially bowing to an enemy who slayed his previos comrades - what was revealed until now, which at least I find strange with only that knowledge. In Naruto, it's not fatal if you miss something because they repeat it a hundred times as a flashback anyways which ain't true for most shows. The point is for you to enjoy it, however I'm not sure if you can enjoy it if you're left with more questions at the end than when the show started because you missed something somewhere along the way. If you enjoy it watching only half of it - then that's fine of course. I know you ain't gonna read that Luke and instead some hater is gonna nitpick and argument at my comment cuz his coffee was 1 degree colder and 1 percent bitter this morning, so I'm simply gonna say to whoever that is - don't bother and have a nice day. P.S. ye, yukine's a bitch

I'll add to the Kazuma thing; in Ep 3 they mentioned that bowing to another God is disrespectful to the God you serve, especially in their presence. While Bisha wasn't RIGHT THERE, she was within a range that could have been considered "present".

Fun fact about this set of episodes; The cookies that Hiyori left outside the room for Yukine are actually suppose to represent him and Yato (Yato being the cats, and Yukine the round one, which are supposed to be snowflakes - yuki being the japanese word for snow, and the fact that as a spirit when Yato found him he looked like a round fluffy snowflake) The hot chocolate spilling on one of the cookies was foreshadowing Ep 9 :) PS. Since you've now fully jumped on board the Noragami hype train, it's now my mission to convince you to read the manga. :D

Noragami does has a great voice cast, but honestly a random show that unironically has one of the greatest casts ever was a seasonal show from a few years ago called Uramichi Oniisan. Just look at this cast. With Hiroshi Kamiya (Yato, Levi) at the lead, the show also includes in various supporting roles: Mamoru Miyano (Light, Okabe) Yuuich Nakamura (Gojo) Tomokazu Sugita (Joseph Joestar, Gintoki) Nana Mizuki (Hinata from Naruto) Kazuya Nakai (Zoro from One Piece) Kenjirou Tsuda (Nanami from JJK) Shinichiro Miki (Roy Mustang from FMA) Daisuke Ono (Erwin Smith, Jotaro) Youko Hisaka (Rias from High School DxD) and Natsuki Hanae (Tanjiro) among others.

Oh, I also would like the Soul Eater reaction. It's one of those old anime that I still find it nice to rewatch (I did it at least three times so far :)) ). The animation is crazy good for it's time, the story, directing, scenes, deep thoughts, cringyness (a bit of a combination of Dandadan and Noragami and others, maybe). So, Luke, if you read this comment, please, we are patiently waiting for Soul Eater too :))) Thank you for your reactions so far. :))

Man I loves French subtitle editor, what a waste, why/how someone can complain about this? And more of it why should it matter, you enjoyed, other people enjoyed and others not, what’s the problem😂. The only reason I don’t like this it’s because I feel the need to check myself that version of Noragami subtitles🤣🤣 When Kofuku used Jotaro I expected some Ora-Ora time😂 1:22:57 where is the French subtile editor ?

Catching up on this and enjoying the reaction! Kind of weird that ya keep struggling with "Regalia" as it's an English word (from the Latin, but still part of English - same root as "royals," "reign" and so on; meaning "the stuff the royals own") and I most often see in real life to talk about British monarchy (to mean the royal family's crown jewels, scepters, etc.). Heh. I wonder if it will still be a problem when I catch up with your season 2 reactions! Yeah, the sound track on this is beautiful. Hope someday you get a chance to see Vampire Princess Miyu, an old but good supernatural series whose traditional Japanese by way of techno soundtrack was from the amazing kenji kawaii (Ghost in the Shell, Ranma 1/2, lots of live action movies like the Ring and Avalon - he doesn't just do anime - -etc.).
