I remember when Luke watched Youjo Senki. Those where some good times. Before the shonen set in. When we had hopes of watching more great content. But sadly, shonen is hard to overcome. It drags you in and starves the mind. It's an addiction. Anime is diverse and unique. It can be an adventure if you let it. It's a medium where a good story can last the test of time. You have stories from all era's of anime that still very enjoyable to watch. As good as contemporary anime is, sometimes you want to see the classics appreciated. I'm sure many others would agree. I wonder if Luke will ever react to Cowboy Bebop?

This is from one of the Animelo Summer Live events (shortform stylised as AniSama), specifically 2018. I have been trying to introduce you to its annual theme songs! I highly recommend you to check out the "Animelo Summer" theme songs sung by multiple anime singers and VAs. Animelo Summer Live is the biggest annual anime song music festival in Japan. You can try the first 2-3 songs starting from the earliest 2005. There are some who you may even recognise! I never doubted Aoi Yuki's passion for her voice acting. If you want to listen to another amazing piece of her work, it's the "So I'm a Spider So What" anime and the full endings of that anime sung by her.

Anisama (Animelo Summer Live) is a yearly concert full of live performance of anime and anime-adjacent songs running since 2006. I *cough cough* own *cough cough* the entire collection and I highly reccomend you seek them out yourself through totally and completely legal means. You have not seen anything until you've seen JAM Project's 30 minute set from 2010, SKILL is something special with a live audience. Another personal favourite moment is from 2009 where it goes from all the Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei openings with crazy anime women screaming and headbanging into Hironobu Kageyama cheerfully waltzing out with an acoustic guitar to do Cha-La Head Cha-La all by himself and somehow commanding just as much stage presence as a full band.
