of all the stands that people dismissed before, this one is by far the most understandable seeing as the only thing hinting at it in the slightest is that people are having nightmares around the same time weeks into a long trip where they’ve been being attacked nearly every day and are probably very stressed out.

Dam Luke, you never woken up from a bad dream and felt drained of energy. Also Kakyoin did mention that it was his handwriting if you can call cutting your self that, but he also immediately checked his knife and it was clean even if you suspect a stand which is completely understandable at that point. Who is to say that it wouldn't be some other animal stand user for example since we already had the ape and who's to say that that stand power wouldn't just make you hallucinate so that you would do something stupid and hurt/kill someone. Just because you suddenly found out a wound on your hand saying "Baby stand" you immediately wan't to kill the baby. Even if it was correct, what are you gonna say to the others, "Don't worry guys, this baby tried to kill us but I killed it first." that will surely go well. Also the thing that Jotaro and Joseph noticed was the smell of the dirty diaper. This is not meant to attack Luke but to show how these kinds of moments have come up once every now and then when Luke can't really seem to insert himself into other peoples situations in the shows and assumes that all characters should now everything that the watcher knows.

Luke clearly is an advocate for baby murder. But in all seriousness, Kaikoyin did not see blood on his knife as he noted. He has no idea where the writing cane from. And he legitimately thinks he is going insane because death 14 is depriving him of sleep. He is losing it. And if 3 of your friends sat there and just let you strangle a baby, then you got some weird friends Luke. Also nobody but Kaikoyin has noticed anything weird about the baby making him seem weirder and crazier. You’re overthinking and over the top Anime. Also you lowkey forget basic plot details, let’s give these guys some grace lol
