You definitely should watch umamusume: pretty derby. It was originally made to promote the mobile game of the series, which is why many people don’t actually watch the anime, but it is for sure worth the watch. The overall story and characters are all really good.

Alexandros is pretty popular in the jrock scene. Highly recommended to check out their other songs. You probably recognize senkou.

Uma musume is based on real Japanese race horses and the seasons are based on those horses IRL story. You could literally go on a Wikipedia and spoil the whole anime for yourself by checking out who wins the races. Also the reason why they're outfits are like that is because they're based on the colors that the horses would wear and their jockeys would wear. Finally this anime is based on one of Japan's most beloved and popular racehorse off all time. Oguri Cap

You have to watch fire force

Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray??? I wans't expecting for that! Both the opening and the ending are amazing. The show itself is turning out to be very good. I had no hopes for it, but after watching some reviewers recomending it, I took the chance and I came out surprised and satisfied. It is indeed a MUST WATCH! About the clothes, that's because it is a Derby, so, they wear for race, but also for "SHOW", like if they were idols (it is an idol show in disguise, actually 😁). So, for the big races they dress fancy and all. About the show itself, it is an adptation of the manga with the same name, wich by itself was a spinoff production derived from the game Uma Musume: Pretty Derby. The game was develop in an intention to be released alongside the first season of the anime, but got delayed and was launched 1 week prior to the premier of the SECOND season. But the GAME was the primary content in question, here, since the beginning. The original anime had 3 seasons and derived into shorts, a movie, the manga and now Cinderella Gray. You can watch it standalone, as I am, no previous knowledge required. And, yes, DON'T SEARCH about the IRL horses they are based on, because it would spoil the events of the show itself 😁

I don't know why you wouldn't have hopes for it The movie is stupidly good, The OVA series is stupidly good, the second season made countless people cry multiple times . it's overall just a really good series

The fire force ending is better than the op

Jc

Nice you should check out the movie when you get a chance to see some insane animation

Marcio Neves

Can't find the movie to watch anywere. Would have to rely on "alternatives". But the original anime is on Crunchyroll, I saw it listed years ago, but I ignored it. Now I want to catch up with it 😁

Shamiak

would be nice if you react to the other umamusume openings, those are different from Cinderella Grey but still worth a shot and really show the animation progress of the serie

Jc

The ova series is uploaded on the official Uma musume YouTube channel with subs just to let you know

Slipstream

Couple of more years and you should be good.

DevDSilver

uma musume translates to horse girl and it is just real life horse track racing just the animal version also they are idols as well. some of the names of the girls are harlarious.

Jenny Rolandsson

Have you reacted to the Black Butler ending?

DRACO

FIRE FORCE ENDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hobiwater

Please react to The Beginning After The End opening! Kingsblood by Kala!🥺

charlymoon

they were those clothes and no regular uniforms because uma musume is actually about races AND Idols, all the girls not only run races but also perform on stage

Kevin V

Another vote for Fire Force ending

ZckFox

Uma Musume Cinderella Gray is turning out, so far, to be a really good sports anime. Though if you were to actually watch a sports anime, I think you would like something like Medalist much better.

Edrei Z.

I loved Uma Musume from its first season especially after I learned that every one of the girls were anthropomorphic copies of real world Japanese race horses (even down to their names) and each season's plot is based on what happened to those horses. Best yet, the seasons are all self-contained and you can watch them out of order though there's a lot of references to previous seasons. It doesn't impact the plot though since it's very simply a good sports/idol anime.

SCD

U should watch ima musume
