Funny thing I was so hyped for this I started drinking an hour beforehand hand and kinda passed out out after the giftoff I'm Gandamu on twitch which was a reference to the original OP and my favorite franchise but I love Danmachi and its similar to Luke i love Bell as a MC

Lichmourne

And the ending was never watched :<

davguev

If it's not canon, I doubt he will.

Robert Franklin

I can't wait to see what Familia they all go too. Would be cool if any of them joined Hestia's Familia. Would be a new dynamic.

n8schlumpf

This Season has only 15 Episodes.

Jolu

Thats a great anime and the confession is early and by the end there is more.

The final arc will apparently start in the next novel, but its taking very long between light novel volumes. This Freya arc ends at vol 18, and we're currently at Vol 20. We probably will get another season arc, then depending on how long the final arc goes for, it'll be at least a couple of years before we get anything. Still, I can wait patiently. Fans of the first season had to wait 4 years (not including Sword Oratoria) before season 2 came out after all.

NK

He did technically. The final episode didn’t have the ending animation but played the ending song and showed the credits over the scene with Syr, Bell, and the tavern girls.

Can anyone tell me why Welf didn't assblast Heith when she was doing that longass rez chant? You telling me bro wasn't close enough to use Will-o-Wisp on her mid-chant, causing her mana to self-detonate??? I mean I'm 99% sure he was closer to her than to the 2 bozos on the cliff when he used it at the end...

Brody Rue

Hey there new to the channel and was wondering if you were going to do a poll to see what would take the slot of danmachi, where do you do the polls for that

Marcio Neves

Next sunday. Whenever a show ends, the next week have a poll and movie vote, the one following it is the chosen movie, and then the streaming of the chosen series starts in the week after that

Marcio Neves

The exception will be this saturday. He just finished Noragami, but it was decided to watch it and Food Wars, back-to-back, so, tomorrow it will either be Food Words or some movie that may have been voted (do not know, haven't watch the Noragami streams, yet)

Finally got around to finishing this. S5 was a lot of fun! I didn't like Bell just randomly getting a new skill right at the very end, that just so happened to perfectly counter the guy chasing him, that was lazy writing, and I don't really know why Lili's back glowed as well, since if she got a new skill we sure as heck didn't see it, but it wasn't a bad ending to the season. I also liked they Ryu got to meet her goddess again. I didn't think that'd happen tbh, since I assumed she'd leave with them if she did, but I guess her bond to Bell is strong enough that she's moved on and (hopefully) joins the Hestia Familia in the future. Speaking of Familias, just disbanding Freya's is kind of insane? I don't know if their powers shut off when they lose their god/goddess, or if they retain their powers but just can't update their status, but it seems like a REALLY bad idea to just disband them. Either the city just lost a huge portion of it's power as all these adventurers lose their powers, or they kept their abilities and now there's a small army of super powered adventurers inside the city that are loyal to no one, which also seems really really dangerous? Surely the smarter play would be to find gods / goddesses that are willing to adopt these adventurers BEFORE disbanding Freya's familia? At least then the adventurers never go rogue and the city doesn't have a sudden manpower shortage. --- As for where the story goes from here I see a few options. Minotaur rematch has to happen. Dungeon needs to get cleared. Black Dragon needs to be found and defeated. Ais (and her relationship to Bell) needs a season worth of content on it's own. Before the Dragon it also makes sense to get a lot of backstory and build up for how awesome the Zeus and Hera familias were and what happened to them. Add in a bunch of conflict with other familias, and I could see this lasting another 3-5 seasons easily. While 5 seasons to end this at 10 would be nice, I don't know what he could even fight to hit 9 or 10. I don't even know how he'd get to 8 to be honest. He definitely needs to be at least 8 or 9 to fight that dragon though, that much seems certain.

Gem of a part haruhime was pretty much their covmp if not outright she spammed her level boost she did at least 5 level boosts of 4 people during the games and saved them for when they mattered most

Daniel Gonzalez

Clearly it does I'm so glad you in your ass ravaged pain were able to realize we we were right and your pain wasn't in vain

Daniel Gonzalez

Luke you are forgetting everything is being recorded Hedin was saying his comments to the camera which also means everyone saw Grease crashout at the end the literal Goddess of Love being completely shutdown by Bell everyone is seeing that ouch it's basically like going on Maury why would you agree to that its never good news

Yu ShangHsin

Bell didn't randomly get a new skill, he got the "escape" skill when leveling up to level 3 or 4 I think. When Hestia leveled him up to 5 they even talked about how his "escape" skill is also leveled up. You can check back that episode. The skill just activated there because he was being chased. Also the full aftermath of the war games wasn't talked about in depth here in the final episode, I presume to not take away from the ending. But they will explain how it works and how the "freya familia" operates in the next season for sure.

Kyle Garrett

Oh okay. I clearly missed them mentioning that skill then. Also good to know the aftermath is at least explained in the LN. Hopefully it gets touched on in the next season, or I'll just have to wait for like aninews or someone to make a video about what was skipped. Thanks

Parkster01

Petition for Luke to read all the LN on stream!

Fabien

1:05:53 If Luke talks about the sexy content, he doesn't reads the dialogues. That's basically Luke's law of physics.

Prowlcorp

Wasn't this when Allen slashed him?
