One of these days Luke's yelling at the beginning of the video might just deafen me

Barack O. Llama

luke, avdol travelled around the world safely because dio thought he was dead. the entire point of not telling plonareff was so this wasn't leaked and so he could travel to them safely. and obviously dio doesn't know about the dog so of course they got there safely. dio can track jospeh and jotaro, thats it.

Not sure about all the source material, but the anime so far hasn’t made it really clear if everyone can use the sight (of other sense) of their stands to relay back to the stand user. There’s been comments that the stand can’t land a decisive hit because they can’t see clearly (like Ebony Devil, the doll that attacked Polnareff in the hotel), and like you mentioned before when fighting the Lovers, Polnareff and Kakyoin where watching via the spirit TV. But, also in that same fight Dan of Steel was either fighting the two of them by seeing them thru his own stand, or was somehow doing all that without getting any information. And Jotaro often uses Star Platinum’s enhanced perception to look for things, but that again could go either way of him having a direct connection to his stand’s sense, or his stand conveying what it sees or hears separately. I feel like the anime seems to suggest more often than not that the stand users have a connection to their stand’s sense (much like how they are physically hurt when their stands are) with some exceptions here and there which may or may not have good explanations to the contrary.

the sound guy is a top 10 villain in the whole series purely because of how cool his stand and hearing is

Luke, if you saw 1 of the films called Tremors, you'll get where this episode comes from ;)

Hey Luke was there no noragami stream last week?

Magic Fibre

I'm glad we got to the Egypt Arc - it's the part where part 3 finally gets good

MoodyBlue

I'm pretty sure he's a fan-favorite

Magic Fibre

So N'Doul controls a powerful stand from 4 kilometers away. What happened to the rule about stand power being inversely proportional to the stand's range?

Smonolith

all the rules about stands are only blurry guidelines

JammySplosha

"attacked by water? in the DESERT?? OH what irony.."

Smonolith

surely no bad guy will ever put on a Speedwagon Foundation™ hat

R!ck

Luke, if you aren't already, please watch the intros of this arc. While keeping the same song and beginning some parts are changing and it's really awesome when you notice it 😁. Even if you ultimately cut it from your video if would be fun to at least hear you comment on it

Smonolith

"So we need to defeat 9 [redacted]?" "Yes we need to defeat 8 [redacted]" "We need to defeat 6 [redacted] got it"

Sai

Hello, JoJo! Shocked Luke didn't compare this to the movie Tremors, being the movie buff he is.

Barack O. Llama

They aren’t rules bro they’re trends. It’s common for stands to get weaker as range increases but it’s not definite

Anacik Gabriel

It is, just slowly one step at a time ;D

Magic Fibre

Yup, thanks. I'm checking whether all rules get broken in part 3 already. Stuff like "only stands can hurt other stands" and "only stand users can see stands" were already broken and I think the only one left is "stand disappears when the user dies"

thewizardninja

My guy if you think THIS is "powerful" you really haven't been paying attention. There's a reason it has to rely on hiding itself and surprise attacks to do anything, it's a "tactical" stand that's much more focused on utility rather than power. Yes, it's got some combat ability but I don't know how you could look at this and think it's comparable to actual power stands like Star Platinum or Magician's Red.

Legacy

The dogs name is Iggy and this part is called Stardust Crusaders. I'll let you figure out the reference 😅

Magic Fibre

Oh suuuure, it's soo weak, it can barely rip a man's face off, lift a car and move so fast Silver Chariot and Star Platinum need to be at high alert. Maybe next time pay attention before commenting

Take a helicopter or walk through the desert...with Joseph. I'd take a plane...to the other side of the world!

Frentzy

Idk why but I wished it was a pig. Just so we say: Iggy the piggy.

thewizardninja

That's literally nothing compared to what actually powerful stands can do. And it couldn't even lift the car, it had to weaken the ground to make the car sink. My man's out here trying to compare a knife to a nuclear weapon.

Magic Fibre

That's literally closer to top stand capabilities than it is to actual long range stands like Lovers or Survivor. My man's here trying to compare a knife to a mosquito proboscis.

thewizardninja

If it's as strong as you want to claim why does it have to rely on guerrilla tactics to do anything at all? Why does it have to hide itself and attack from blind spots (the actual reason they have to stay on alert)? Could it possibly be that if it didn't do that it would get demolished by the majority of stands? Could it possibly be that it actually isn't particularly fast, nor is it particularly strong, it's simply in an advantageous environment that mitigates its weaknesses and it's using that to its fullest extent?

Magic Fibre

Of course it's hiding. It's fighting 3 powerful low-to-mid range stands. I'm not saying it's stronger than Star Platinum, I'm saying it's MANY MANY MANY times stronger than Lovers or Echoes
