Iggy can't actually speak, the lip moving was only for the watchers sake (we can see that he's only barking when trying to talk to the kid in the previous episode). Can't wait for the next episodes!!

its like a beverly hills chihuahua type deal if you watched it, where when the dog talks, its just barking in reality, even though we the viewer can understand what they're saying

not saying this is the reason, but my theory is to why they explain what they're doing sometimes on screen is to help those whom are visually impared or to fill in gaps that would otherwise feel empty without dialogue

No offense but authors do the narrating thing because people like you miss alot, so they def repeat alot for their viewers. Like the fact you think Iggy can actually talk after they made it a point of him barking in front of the kid. They make things obvious for viewers who don’t notice a lot. It’s one of the reason they dare never change their characters clothes cuz you would think they are a new character
