Hah! I saw "GHOST STORIES" in your title, and for a moment there... Oh well, the disappointment isn't total - still got a Maomao episode :-)

Someone needs to make a list of all the things we already know updated each episode, to help Luke not forget things. Because Apothecary Diaries has a lot of information, and without multiple rewatches it's hard to remember everything. I'm lucky to watch different reactions for Apothecary Diaries, but Luke only had watched each episode once, and the first season was a long time ago, so he forgot a lot of things unfortunately, but it is understandable.

List of informations we know: -Jinshi and Gaoshun are not eunuchs (season 1 episode 20) -Jinshi is 19, but he is pretending to be 24 (season 1 episode 20) -Jinshi is the name of his identity and we don't know his real name (season 1 episode 20) -Gaoshun has already children (Basen is his youngest son at 19 years old) and grandchildren (season 1 episode 20) -Jinshi is either the son of the emperor or his brother, depending on if he is the baby swapped or not (season 1 episode 20). -JInshi thinks he is the brother of the emperor, because he thinks that Anshi and the late Emperor are his parents. -The emperor visits often Gyokuyou (she is his favourite), also visits Lihua and also visits Loulan, but doesn't find her appealing. He doesn't visit Lishu because she is too young and he finds his father's (the Late Emperor) behavior disgusting and try to distance himself from him. -Concubine Loulan changes hairstyle, makeup and clothing a lot, so he never recognize her when he visits her (season 1 episode 14) -Maomao is the daughter of Lakan, the Great Strategist of the Empire, and Fengxian, a high-ranking courtesan at the Verdigris House -Lakan had a night with Fengxian one time and there Maomao was created -Fengxian had to have sex with clients when she became pregnant with Maomao because her value was lowered and she got a sexually-transmitted malady in the meantime. -Maomao remembers her mother using a knife against her when she was a baby and said that it was a thing that really happened. -Maomao's adoptive father Luomen is a well-known apothecary that helped the delivery of the current Emperor when he was born. He also is Lakan's uncle. -Suirei the woman that used a potion to make herself seems dead and was a part of the assassination against Jinshi in episode 19 is still unfindable. She has a lot of knowledge with medicine and poison. We don't know who is in the plot to kill Jinshi and what are their true final intentions. -a lot more I might update this list later

I think you'd really enjoy "Murder Drones" by Glitch on YouTube it's really funny the mystery is fantastic and the horror in the series gets absolutely incredible. It's only 8 episodes

The organizer was the lady that had died the year before. Moamoa was right in that the story that she told was a story about herself, being one of the girls that the emperor took a liking to, then could not leave the rear palace after. Of the 12 people telling ghost stories the final ghost story was suppose to be the story of how her "the organizers" ghost tricked them into leading them to their deaths. Vengeance on all the new young girls entering the palace never having to suffer the way the other younger girls did.
