We literally skipped the part where Danzo becomes the Hokage. That's the issue with skipping every single filler. They always mix canon information under or use some of the episodes to make a small transition. If you skip those fillers, you will also miss those transitions. So i am not surprised that Luke and some people in chat got so confused right now. And i can already see Luke's confusion when Utakata will be mentioned in the future, since we literally skipped his entire arc...

I have never chat seen this annoyed for skipping fillers. Yes, they were not marked as mixed. But they still had some important information. Like Danzo's appointment. Same as the Utakata arc we skipped. So i absolutely agree with chat.

In particular that sequence, because the tiny canon parts are at the first and last minutes of each episode, while it shows they trying to rebuild the village and all. But, chat is adamant against any filler at all, so we have to bear with it and try to fill Luke in what was missed

Don't forget Luke, that there is still some deep rooted hate and distrust between villages. Especially among the older generations. Garaa and the sand village are more of an exception right now. So of course, Samui can't take a shinobi, who might as well want to kill the Raikage in the name of his village, along to meet the Raikage. Plus, they are not supposed to know where the Kage summit will be hold. Her decision is plainly rooted in political thinking.

Luke, I promise you to re-watch parts of the fillers skipped and post here a summary of what happens in all of them. All of them follows somewhat the same structure: peole in the present around the village, discussing how they will rebuild and all, focusing in this or that group of chracteres, at the first 2 minutos or so and the last 2 minutos and so of each episode; and the episode itself is a flashback of them remenbering something, with or without Naruto (like, what some of them were doing while Naruto was away with Jiraya for the 2 and half years, for example). Just wait a day or two 😅

Oh true!!! The Iruka part was among them! I forgot. That's really a shame... Especially since they are semi-canon, as those episodes are based on character informations from the original author. So not canon to the manga, but canon to the lore. Really a shame.... Nuke it is a funny way of saying it. That would also literally Nuke Dragon Ball GT and Dragon Ball Super, since both where not made by Akira Toriyama. Well, GT IS actually non-canon going by Toriyama to be fair... But Super is certainly canon. The manga version at least and not the anime version with all of it's creative liberties and changes...

Luke! This new Shippuden ENDING in full version is the best of Naruto song ever made by the way ... Not only the best ending but best song from all openings and endings and is called: "MAYONAKA NO ORCHESTRA" ... you have to watch it with a certain video clip (OVA) what was released in 2011 and that one IS heavily SPOILERED unfortunately. You will soon be at the point when you will be able to watch it. It would be great reaction for youtube trust me. Unfortunately after the Pain Arc, they get pretty aggressive with mixing canon stuff into the filler episodes, so it gets harder to skip them. I'm sure there are compilations out there of canon scenes that you could react to. I've seen other reaction channels get those.

Did we skip the part with older Inari and Tazuna? I guess it was in a "Mixed-Canon" episode... But if I remember correctly, we saw the last few minutes of episode 220 because it was "canon", so why didn't we do that this time too? Danzo becoming Hokage was also in a Mixed-Canon episode if I remember correctly.

What are these comments? "the starts and ends of episodes show villages rebuilding effort" So should we watch the start and end of 20 filler episodes? "danzo becoming hokage is in the fillers, now you have no idea what happened" He was voted... there, not really a groundbreaking reson to watch the filler surrounding it or search for few minutes of material out of every filler. "just watch the filler" well i'm sorry but I am not postponing getting to the actual story by a few months just because "it has funny moments" or "you get some more character" That character stuff can't add anything substantial to make sure it stays in line to the story, so no, fillers are just an add on, that me and many others just don't deem necessary to the already too long anime.

there are some fillers worth watching but only selective. So there is a 'filler arc' where naruto spends like idk 50 episodes on a boat. In those 50 filler arc there is one episode where naruto dreams that his clones gaining sentience and refusing to do what he says and try to become the real naruto. I believe that cool concept fillers can be watched. Even if it add nothing to the story, some content is either way too funny or thought provoking. Those filler deserve a watch, rest? trash.

bro this is luke's fault 500%. I was there . There were 2 guys and he read the comment of those guys and he starts flaming, we try to calm him down but then one mod writes a comment (no one knows if for luke or a reply and luke sees it right after that and goes even more into flames). Everyone in chat was agreeing with him beside 2 dudes. Sometimes it's majority doing what you described, but this time was minority and if he decide to put a spotlight on minorities it's his fault and not the 98% well behaved in that specific moment.

Here's the thing that I think people miss about this situation with Sasuke. He wasn't a "villain" or a criminal at all until just recently. Yeah, three years prior, right before the show's timeskip, Sasuke left Konoha to join up with Orochimaru. That action in itself is not technically a criminal action. Yes, sure one could argue that Orochimaru himself IS a criminal, so guilty by association on Sasuke's part. But, up until recent events, killing random Orochimaru fodder bad-guys, hell even killing Orochimaru himself, still doesn't technically make Sasuke a criminal that needs to be gone after right away. It was only when he went to try to kidnap Killer Bee that he was labeled a criminal. Before then all he was was a "Missing Nin", a ninja that went missing from his village. And it is crazy that like only when the Akatsuki started going after Jinkuriki like Gaara, that it wasn't serious enough for any Kage to call for a 5 Kage Summit to figure out how to handle the Akatsuki, and they were at FULL damn strength at the time! Now, now that we're down to my boy Tobi, Zetsu, and Kisame, and thats it. Sasuke and his group aren't officially a part of their group anymore. So the Akatsuki are at their weakest level, even though they have seven of the nine tailed beasts. So yeah with that much concentrated power, the 5 great nations would be right to want to stop them. As for the Kage's hats, well it stands to reason that they all have an identifiable trait that shows that they are in fact a Kage. Its something the first country to establish the notion of "Kage" did, and all other nations followed suit. Remember back in the Chuunin exams, there was the fake Kazekage sitting there next to the 3rd Hokage, he had the same style hat on there too.

Sasuke had a fight with Naruto when he left the village to join Orochimaru. Naruto was injured. So I think that counts as a "criminal action". And the scratch on his headband was already a symbol for him beeing a rougue ninja, even if he wasn't one officially.

Naw. At best that was just Sasuke using self-defense. Naruto literally told him he would take him back to the village by force if necessary. Sasuke didn't want to go back. Fight breaks out. Not a crime. And especially not one that would put Sasuke on an international wanted criminal list. The way I figure it, I'm sure there are ninja's that wanna abandon their villages all the time, no matter where they come from. And as long as that ninja does not explicitly engage in obvious criminal behavior, I'm sure most nations agree that a "rogue ninja" is just that, he's a rogue, not a criminal. And they leave it up to the home nation of wherever that ninja came from to deal with him, IF they choose to deal with him or not.

Sasuke was a criminal he forsaked his village and went to learn with a traitor of the village i believe the word is treason. its the reason why Sasuke was in the bingo book that Sai had he was on the list of assassination targets. he just didn't become an international criminal until he attacked Killer Bee.

The filler is what makes the start of this confusing. Without the filler Naruto and crew are in the village with Tsunade in a coma. While that's going on there's a council of elders going on to decide what to do while Tsunade is in a coma. Kakashi was nominated to be the next hokage, since he was the disciple of the 4th, son of white fang, and linked to the Jiraiya and the 3rd as well. The Daimyo of the Fire Nation (leader) was about to agree to that when Danzo steps in saying the village is in this situation because of the 3rd's teachings, and instead of more leaders like him they need to change things up and he nominates himself. Once Danzo points out pain was a disciple of Jiraiya, and Jiraiya was the 3rds disciple. He argues that leaders like the 3rd are too soft and that's why he should be in charge instead, because a strong leader wouldn't let this happen, or let the earlier betrayal by Sand happen. So in the manga Naruto and them are all in the village still while this meeting and declaration happens. It's only weird in the anime because of the filler resulting in them not being there.

As I promised, the Naruto Shippuden filler summary bellow. Read it, ignore it, do whatever you want about it. For me, the only good one is the 176-178 arc. I also like 190, I like the Kosuke character (he will show up at other moments later on, not sure if pure fillers or mixed). And some of the following ones had some intersting bits of interaction from the characteres in the present, but it was less and less as nothing more were available to mix in for that. - 176-178: The first episode starts with the replay of Iruka's remembering the words of the 4rd Hokage. In the distance we see Zetsu observing the crowd and being impressed for Pain being defetead by Naruto. The episodes itself are a flashback of Iruka back when Naruto was still a student. We see him initially strugling to have to deal with the kid that carries the beast responsable for the death of his parents, but little by little he connects with this solitary boy, that was forced to grow up without a parent figure around his life, pulling up with all his pranks and attempts to call for attention. In this flashback we also see Shikamaru father seing no problem of him being friends of Naruto, instead he even incentivites it for his son. The 3rd episode is about Naruto going to the forest at the hills, tricked by some other boys, but the hills are said to have presence of enemy shinobi, and Iruka goes save him, and they finally accept each other as sensei and student. The final minutes of the 3rd episode comes back into the present, we see Sasuke & company and Suigetsu showing the he went away to retrieve Zabuza's sword back. We also see the remainders of Akatsuki assembled, being briefed by Zetsu about what have happened. Yamato finaly arrives at the Konoha Village, seing all the destruction and being briefed by Shikaku about Pain's attack, and what Naruto did. We alse learn that an Emergency Council was called, requiring Shikaku's presence, for him being the leader of the Shinobi forced - 179: the episode starts with a council with the Feudal Lord, the village councilors, Danzo and other top ranking shinobi, including Shikaku, about the selection of a new Hokage. The Feudal Lord asks if they could not just wait for her recovering, but the councilors state that it would no be possible. Then he asks who should become Hokage, and Danzo promptly presents himslef, but is quickle interrupted by Shikaku, who suggests Kakashi as the 6th Hokage. All the advisors of the Feudal Lord discuss and there's a somewhat consensus about that being a good choice, specilly because he was the mentee of the 4th Hokage, wich by himself was a mentee of Jiraya, and that one a mentee of the 3rd Hokage. But Danzo steps in to 'poison' the opininions, stating that the ruin of the village were direct results of the teachings of the 3rd Hokage, exposing that Nagato was one of Jiraya's disciples. In the end, Danzo is them appointed as the 6th Hokage. The Flashback is around Kakashi, in the day he is chosen to be the sensei responsable for Team 7. We also see that team 8 is the first assignment of Kurenai as a sensei. And see Choza, Inoichi and Shikaku proud to learn that their respective kids will form a new Ino-shika-cho team, mentored by Asuma Sarutobi, the son of the 3rd Hokage. The episode them follows Kakashi around the day the Team 7 should learn how will be their sensei, but through Kakashi's perspective this time - 180: the episode starts with Yamato creating houses after houses with his wood techniques, to the point of exaustion. We also see an older Naruto and Sakura meeting Inari and his grandfather Tazuna, wich came to help at the vilalges rebuilt task force. The flashback is about the events right after they defeat Zabuza and Haku, and are about to leave the land of the Wave, but Naruto has to come back because he forgot something important, and them he end up rescuing Inari and some other kids, that were kidnaped by some surviving from Gato's thugs, that were still around causing confusion - 181: ok, this one is a very silly one. It is basically them trying to escort some "ninja ostrich" back to the Leaf Village. There's is also some story about some random guy they meet that is trying to fullfill some "avenge contract" agains another guy, wich he has been challeing for years, and alwyas ends up defeated. In the end we find out that the "criminal" was not really guilty of anything, and the two used to be friends in the past. The parts in the present are just small talk from Inari and Tazuna about how strong Naruto became and so on. But in the end of the episode, Tazuna asks about Sasuke to Kakashi. Kakashi tries to explain but Naruto steps in to say that he "is not around right now", becaus they "had an argument with each other" and he decided to "leave the village for a while", to ease the mood - 182: back in the Sand Village, we see Gaara, Temari and Kankuso discussing about the Konoha destruction by the Akatsuki and the void of power due to Tsunade's condition. But Gaara states they should be fine, because they have "him". The flashback is from the time right after they have returned to the Sand Village after the attack agains the Leaf Village have been resolved, and they are back into a truce again. We see Gaara trying to fit in with his own conrades, joining a new ninja Team and participating in a joint mission with Team 7. In the end Gaara is reassured that he is "good person" and his team members declares to be his friends, wich makes him happy - 183: another of the silliest episodes. The flashback is about Naruto being sick, Sakura being sick in bed too, and Tsunade thinking he has some 'chackra virus', ordering Shizune to command a task force to try and capture him to be treated. Things escalete highly and Naruto is being chased by all his friends, and manages to evade them one by one. But in the end it was just a misunderstanding, and he has no such "chackra virus" - 184: the episode starts with Tenten and Neji going to the creator of ninja tools, to replenish village stockpile (Tenten can carry a HUGE amount of them due to her storage technique). The flashback is about they teaming up with Naruto as a Lee's replacement (due to him being in the hospital), to go to that same craftsman lab and retrieve some super ultimate ninja tool he was supposebly developing for the village - 185: the episode starts with that "ninja ostrich" from before telling a story about a fight he had with the Naruto before he left the village with Jiraya. The flashback shows Naruto, Lee and Shino (the most random team you can imagine) hunting down that strotich, wich have scaped into the 'death forest', being commanded by Kotetsu (the recurring ninja we see with a bandage over his nose). They try to capture it, but fail, and only succeed when Izumo, the other one we allways see paired with Kotetsu, come aroung to help them - 186: the flashback is about Sakura, Ino and Naruto going to a nearby mountain to retrieve some special flower for Gai to make a special "medicine" to help Lee recover from his injuries - 187-188: the episode is entirely a flashback of Naruto and Jiraya in their travels, him receiving training about how to dispell Genjutsu (with the help of one of Jiraya's toads, Gamariki. They also help a village be free itself from the control of a group of bandits. In the end of the second episode we see Jiraya proud of Naruto's developement and how much he ressemble his father, the 4th Hokage, and how Minato thought of him as a kind of Father figure, wich make him rationalize that by extension Naruto would be a sort of a grandson for him 😁 - 189: the episode is a flashback with the "ninja cats", that were related to the Uchiha clan. The entire episode is about Team 7 trying to tetrieve a print of the pawn of a special "cat" from that "ninja cats" community 🤷🏽‍♂️. Oh, yeah, you see Naruto and Sasuke wearing cats headbands, to "blend in" into the ninja cats fortress 😅 - 190: I kinda like this episode: it is the flashback with Kosuke, the "Ethernal Genin" of the village, a man as old as the 3rd hokage, which was also one of the students from the 2nd Hokage, but somehow never got promoted above genin in his life for over 50 years of service. Him, Naruto and two other ninja form a team, right after Orochimaru's attack, to go patrol the northern border of the land. We eventually learn he CHOSE to always be a Genin, to atone for a guilt he had for decisions he made in the past, that costed the life of his teammates - 191: in the present we see a singer trying to cheer up the villagers, and being observed by Kakashi in the distance. In the flashback we learn that she was a spy captured by the village, and during the extraction of information from her brain, Inoichi founds out that she has memories of Kakashi from when they were just kids, althought she seen to have no other memory of her past as a kunoichi from the Keyhole village - 192: in the present, we see Hinata helping other injured Hyuuga in treating their injuries, being observed by Neji. Meanwhile Konohamaru, Moegi and Udon come by and asks him for an interview for the "Academy Newspaper" about Naruto, to celebrate the Hero of the Village. The conclusion of Neji story is about how Naruto changed him and make him see that Hinata was not a "princess", but was also suffering just like him from the pressure the Hyuuga family imposed on both of them - 193: this is a flashback where Naruto is haunted by a ghost of a ninja that have died and help him "rest in piece" by solving the issue that was keeping him aroung. Eventually it is discovered that he is not dead yet, but in coma, and that his "spirit" was sealed by a rival ninja who had something against him. Yeah, 🤷🏽‍♂️ - 194: another flashback with a random mission with team 7. Naruto and Sasuke happen to be linked toguether by some misterous Orb and they have to find a way to work together as one, to be able to rescue Sakura and defeat the bandits of the time - 195: in this flashback we see a joint mission with Team 7 (Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura) and Team 10 (Shikamaru, Choji, Ino) in a mission to rescue the granddaughter of the leader of a small village that was kidnapped by bandits. The focus of the story is about Team 10 teamwork, mainly, the Ino-shika-cho - 196: in this flashback we see Sasuke troubled by how powerful Naruto was becoming, before his decision to leave the Leaf village to go to Orochimaru. During this flashback Sakura and Naruto are hired as bodyguards of a little girl, relative to an important Feudal Lord, who likes Sasuke. In this episode she end up being kidnapped (yeah, that happened a lot), and she end up being rescued by Sasuke

As a fan of both, I was pulling up my sleeves for an argument and then I thought about it a sec and yeah, you're pretty much right. Aizen-Sama and Kon could pretty much easily walk through almost everyone in the lineup, except maybe prime Whitebeard, Shanks or "Sungod Nika" Luffeefy. But then there's Zaraki, and ain't NO ONE in OP surviving that beast. Also, could you imagine how Epic and HILARIOUS a fight between Kempachi and Luffy would be with Nozorashi Bankai vs Toonworld Nika Luffy Hahahaha... I'm laughing my ass off just thinking about it...
