You need to check out the endings, or some of the ost's creepy nut did for call of the night.

yorozuyapetel

"this is like no creepy nuts song i've ever heard" this song sounds more creepy nuts than most of their anime music

Shana

I'm pretty sure he did already a year or more back. Well, the old ED + Insert song at least.

yorozuyapetel

i say most of their anime music but besides otonoke and bling bang bang born i'm pretty sure theyve only done call of the night? which i remember as being the moment they really got a big name, obviously mashle propelled it, but i remember everyone suddenly talking about them when call of the night released. man im gonna go watch the season 1 op/ed again, those two are so great as well

ElectricAnt

"This doesn't sound anything like creepy nuts" the damage mashle and dandadan did to this band's image is unreal

Shana

Sure you've heard this before, but the manga for "Call of the Night" was actually inspired by a Creepy Nuts song by the same name, and when it was made into an Anime they managed to get Creepy Nuts to do 3 songs for it, the OP, ED and an insert song. And now they've done the S2 OP/ED also! It was Creepy Nuts' first anime OP too, so in lots of ways It's the thanks to this show we get to have more Creepy Nuts OP's at all! I think you would enjoy the show, It's kind of hard to genre-fit it, but I guess It's a Horror/Romance/Coming of Age story? It's pretty popular, so I'm surprised It's not recommended to you more often. Must be that fans have been waiting for some big tickets like MHA and the like to get done first.

Ryukai

Creepy Nuts just don't miss! These guys are on a generational run

Stefan Jipa

This is an ok opening, but I gotta admit I am pretty disappointed with the current op/ed considering how good were in S1, and also the work they did last year. Visuals are great, the song it’s ok but here I don’t feel any synchronisation between them…

Ryukai

I haven't seen any other afro beats song from them. So this really is different from their usual style.

DRACO

for an afrobeat this is fire

Stefan Jipa

I agree it has a summer vibe

Jacowab

sadly call of the night is a very "vibey" anime so its hard to get a lot of hype around voting for it

ImSpook'd

i just think its funny that kou is nowhere to be seen in the opening

Stefan Jipa

After the op I wanted to check on anilist that he still is a main character:))

DeusSilvam

Are you sure? I've not done a deep dive on Creepy Nuts, but aside from the anime ones (Bling-Bang-Bang-Born, Otonoke and Daten), I've also heard Nidome, Biriken, Bad Orangez and To Us Former Prodigies. None of them have this kind of vibe. Are you referring to some of their older material?

yorozuyapetel

Nah, I kinda said that in the heat of the moment but I’m not too sure, it’s been some months since I last listened to a creepy nuts song. It mainly came from the fact that it’s got the chill vibe that their anime songs don’t as much have, besides otonoke. The others are a lot more upbeat and/or heavy. I hadn’t picked up on the Latin inspiration that Luke immediately mentioned. Honestly just act like I didn’t say that first comment, it kinda makes me sound like a pretentious prick.

LewdNazuna

I think on the contrary that it's the most "Creepy Nuts" song they've done and it fits the anime so well

DevDSilver

As far as i know you would be entirely wrong about creepy nuts because every anime OP they have one the song was made for the anime which is not uncommon for artist to make a song for the actual anime rather than just having one of their songs used. Also one reason you thoughts line up is when they made the 1st season op the animators actually put an animated creepy nuts in the anime. So yea every creepy nuts anime op is a custom song.

TrueWarriorJak

That's ironic given the the current season is going to get very dark and action heavy.

Alessus

Yofukashi no Uta is a very special anime. I can't explain it, it just has this... atmosphere, vibes, I don't know, that I haven't felt from any other anime. It feels different, yet still great. You will definitely not get a hype crew around it, it's just not that kind of anime, but I'm sure you'll like it if you give it a chance.

Barack O. Llama

call of the night is one of the most amazing looking anime just because of the vibe

Barack O. Llama

op of the year, somehow better than solo levelling

Daniel P

BUT ARE YOU GOING TO KENDRICK LAMAR THIS MONTH???

Marc Lucksch

What is happening there? You really need to watch this show..

Soulseller33

you should definitly watch call of the night at some point. Its gorgerous. The story starts kinda slow, but picks up later on. And its have some really intersting characters in it

Azrael

Pls react to The Summer Hikaru Died it will be one of the best anime this seasone If not THE BEST

Kitsune

if you like ATMOSPHERE, VIBES, THE NIGHT, and CreepyNuts of course, Goated Director Itamura in charge who has worked on monogatari series before and it just shows on the animation quality both season 1 and the recent s2 episode!

Jordy EMS

actual unreal opening givin bad bunny vibes and ime here for it

Leander Joseph

Fun fact. Creepy Nuts was the reason Call of the night was created. They created the song "Call of the Night" in 2019 and the author of the anime was so inspired by it that they created the anime just because of it. I guarantee you'll love the anime of you ever get the chance to watch it!

Katie Wyatt

Call of the Night is a fantastic anime, and I really think you'd like it. If you're a night owl type of person, it'll definitely hit home.

Harald Nassau

Sometimes they made a Teaser from the Video. The full Version will be released later.

SouldeLuna

Call of the night is a really good anime.

Billy Dowd

Its sad it doesn't get recommended much, I love this anime

TheErisianMonk

Luke. My boy. Call of the Night is one of the vibiest, styliest, grooviest series, both them manga and anime. If you want, I will start a movement to gain support for a reaction. I just fell like you deserve to enjoy one of the best new cult hits of our days.

Patrizek

Really liked first Season 1 and after finishing Season 2 it became one of my favorites of all time. Never ever has such a thing happened to me where after finishing an anime I wanted to rewatch it again after about a week has passed. The Character and Story development are masterfully crafted and the music tied to it is just a cherry on top. Another anime where all of the openings and endings are very good imo. Creepy Nuts are amazing
