Unfortunately this was an anime original. No source material, no Manga, no light novel. So its highly unlikely that we'll ever see a season 2. It does conclude the Arc satisfactorily but like you said, there's no way the story can conclude in the next 5 episodes

When I first started watching Luke in his Demon Slayer reactions, it was like "Wow, this guy just teared up at episode 19. I feel so validated now." After a good while and many reactions later I've come to realize.... "Man, he's kind of a baby. He tears up with anything he watches." Which is also fine cause I am a baby too and it still validates me.

i just remembered an anime that I think would interest you. it's called Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom.

he specified that at one point that he wasn't a baby and first 20years or so he never 'cried'. He said he always had this skill in him. he specified that Crying for him is like a bonus that he can 'boost' but not trigger. If he feels "goosebumps" or "strong emotions" like anger/excitement he said he learned because of being a youtuber to "lean" into that hence the boost. Most people 'keep it' in them but he learn to do the opposite. Ep 19 Demon slayer is just so much PEAK + that song that even for people who keep it in them they fail to do so. I rarely cry but that ep also made me shed a tear. Through copying luke I realized that I can also lean into that ability of his but it's limited. All I can do now is at best tear up my eyes but no tear . Either way I told this in case anyone wondering why he's a baby. He's not. He learned what actors do on a minimal level.

To be clear, calling him a baby was a joke. Luke is one of the best people I've seen and has very level headed and thought provoking takes on the shows he watches. And he feels cause he is human and doesn't hide it.

If you love how Death Parade slowly gives you the story and answers some questions only to give you even more questions, then you would love Clair Obscur Expedition 33. It has probably the best story and dialogue I've ever seen in a game. By the end of the prologue you have a ton of questions and almost no answers for everything that occurred in the prologue
