John Smith is voiced by Fukuyama Jun who voices Lelouch

15:47 Just so you know, that scare hypothetical is how our society functions.

Amberyootoob

Shadow Garden is playing 4D chess but John Smith is playing 12D chess.

Zer0

You missed episode 1's ending picture.

Luke was imagining tanjiro showed up, but delta is not nezuko 😆

It's important to note with this arc that Cid doesn't actually know that everything Shadow Garden does is for his sake, he thinks the girls formed Mitsugoshi independently and only go along with his whims when he asks them to. So his plan is to destroy the company and create a new one under him without realising he is already in charge of everything they have built. His complete detachment from his own reality is one of the main recurring gags in the show and the only way the plot can progress, but I'll admit this is the point for me where it got particularly frustrating.

Earlier banks used the same system. You would put 10 gold coins into the bank and get an IOU for those coins. Now you can exchange that IOU for goods if the other party agreed and they could then go back to the bank to get the PHYSICAL gold coins back out. People started using the IOU, or better knows as bank notes nowadays, to trade and some people never withdrew the gold coins. Banks then started to loan out money to 3rd parties which meant that your 10 gold coins are given out while you still have the IOU in essence doubling the money even though there are only 10 phyiscal coins. Atleast this is how i remember it working in the olden days without regulation.

Daniel Gonzalez

Yeah but if it wasn't for his misunderstanding then spoilers spoilers

Fernando Lahude

This not only Has been done, but it is also the Rule for the banking and financial system worldwide. That's why inflation happens, and why central bank money (dolar, euro. peso) is always losing value.

Luke shadow doesnt need delta to find 100 women, he already has 666 + 7 in his super secret org

What they're describing is how normal credit creation works. If you deposit a $100 bill in the bank, you have $100 in your account, but they can then legally lend that $100 in cash to someone else, thus effectively creating $200, the $100 bill and the $100 in your account, and if that second person deposits the money, the bank can lend it out again, creating another $100. This is why runs on the banks occurred during the Great Depression - people lost faith in banks ability to cover people's accounts when they went to withdraw. This is basically what Yukime is trying to cause.

I hope you can react to the Kagejitsu comedy shorts for Eminence in Shadow. There is a lot more Delta (and Zeta) in them.

Michael

Fun Fact: Shadow puts his mask on upside down the entire time.

Dovydas Pilka

the plot moves faster than any anime so idk how can it get frustrating

NoEridge

Frustrating in that I feel bad for the Shadow Garden girls in this arc.

TheKnightwatchOfficial

Yeah, my big problem with this season was it felt like 4 cours in one seasons. Spoilers. And this is also where the series really started to lose me on first watch.

Fahed JKR

he his like ainz 🤣

Dethrox

omg Luke you are cooking :D wont say which part but you COOKED :D

Collin Patrick

Luke... that's basically how banks work.

paozer 87

Just you wait Luke, shadow is amazing! All praise Shadow!🤣

John

Luke just now learning how modern banking and loans work lol

John

Also Delta has over a thousand siblings, I think she can spare one or two.

I forgot his doggo is back lmao. :) so happy ( and it is astonishing how well they written her, I am not even aroused by a nearly naked beauty cuz she is literally a dog ) and I love her character, adds so much good humor and energy.

Amaiar (Airamand)

The whole credit/bills thing is better explained in the Manga IMO, and it's Shadow himself who comes up with the counterfeit mambo.

Amaiar (Airamand)

Essentially, when you put 10€ worth of gold in the bank, and the bank creates a bill for you that represents those 10€, now there are 20€ in total, the "real" 10€ in the bank and the "fake" 10€ in circulation. The bank uses the "real" 10€ to make dealings, like lending money then getting back the interest as benefit. But that means that suddenly you have a "fake" 10€ in hand, but your "real" 10€ aren't in the bank anymore, they're back in circulation. You, of course, don't suspect anything is wrong and just use your 10€ bill with the same value that it would have if it was real gold. But that is all sustained sorely on the public's trust in the bank and the system. People trust that whenever they desire to take out their "real" 10€, they just have to give back the bill of "fake" money to the bank and retrieve it. If suddenly a bunch of actual counterfeit bills went into circulation, and people lost their trust in the system, in their "fake" money, they would RUSH to get back their "real" money, their gold, but the bank wouldn't have enough for everyone because they have already put it back in circulation. So they would go broke and it would become a big problem for everyone involved –except the people that made the counterfeits, they just have to worry about being caught–.

Tsusaku Cohenat

Its not that Shadows is too proud to ask the girls for money (he was literally playing a dog for the princes, to get just some coins, he has no pride considering money), he actually thinks, they are their money not his, even the only thing they though when making the money, they do it for him. Did you forgot he still thinks, they are only playing with him his dream, because of consideration to him healing them.

Itto Sanzzo

Delta wants 100 woman with 100 children each, herself included. The question now is, who would make that deal?

Itto Sanzzo

Or even a better question, that is "who would survive that deal"...

Kyle Garrett

To be fair, this is how real banks work as well. It's why you can't just go into a bank and withdraw 100k you have saved, and why bills are so intricately designed with anti-counterfeit tech in most countries.
