rohan blowing up is what causes time to reset, the loop starts again when the person that finds out about kira is killed. or at least thats what it seems like to me

Hayato only had cameras in the bathroom cause he was there and he wanted proof if kira did anything to him. I know this is a bucket of water in the fire that is your preception of hayato but still wanted to clear that up

the day repeated after the other 4 died is because it's automatic, kira doesn't know those 4 have died until it happens again in the current loop. so basically since hayato knows kira will 100% stop the loop ability this current loop after he witnesses them all die, hayato basically has to make kira undo the loop before any die to prevent it being permanent. and because of where the episode ended, hayato has 44 seconds to make kira undo it otherwise rohan will die and another 4 minutes before the others.

Hayato is the only person who has knowledge of what goes on in the loops and kira can only guess what could have happened because he knows his stand's power. So kira doesn't know that if he did undo bites the dust who is dead and who is not. Also kira doesn't control bites the dust, all he does is place it on a person or remove it, so he doesn't get a say on if time rewinds.

Kira did not purposefully reset time after Jotaro an co. died. Bites the dust automatically "blows away time" after a succesfull kill. Kira isn't really aware of stuff that happened before resets. He can only guess by observing Hayatos reactions.

On thursdays stream he mentioned that he prerecorded about 10 episodes ahead due to the move and did not watch the opening for the last episodes of part 4. He did however write down the idea of reacting to the different versions of the opening as a bonus video.

Seeing Luke cringe makes me wonder, what other anime would get a similar reaction? What are some other anime that will make Luke uncomfortable? Wonder Egg Priority might do the trick. Higurashi would probably work as well. Flowers of Evil would probably be the first anime that would Luke consider dropping. It's that stressful. I'm sure I'm overlooking some. Please feel free to comment some other suggestion. If not for Luke, then for the rest of us Who doesn't like a good recommend?

I'll start by saying that I fully agree that Hayato's behavior in regards to filming his parents without their knowledge or consent is fully creepy. I'm not going to defend his actions, but I do think I understand the angle the writer was going for. I believe that Hayato's character is obsessed with the question of whether or not he is a "wanted" child born to parents that actually love each other. He knows that what he is doing is wrong and creepy, but despite that he cannot help but look into it to answer that one burning question that he hears at his core. Is this a realistic character motivation/can a child really be this aware of his own place in life? I don't find it likely, but we are watching Jojo's, so who knows what constitutes "normal" here.

Bound-Stands can be seem by normal people as they are possessing physical objects that actually exist. Stray Cat is a stand possessing and merged with that flower that grew from the Cat's grave, so normal people can see it as strange flower that seems to be conscious and moving on it's own. It's unclear if it's actually the Cat's soul or his stand is merely a copy of original Cat's soul, posthumous stands are so rare and varied, it's hard to get a clear feeling for their rules unlike a lot of the other types of stands. the only seeming rule is that they are either a Bound-stand (like Anubis) or a fully automatic stand that can potentially survive even if it's host dies, like Cheap Trick.

35:23 I wanna disagree with you, but you're right about the cats vs dogs thing - out of all crusaders, Iggy's stand is probably THE most direct counter to Killer Queen 😅 Also, Bites the Dust is an automatic stand, meaning that Kira does not know what it's doing and can't directly control it. The day reset because the stand is "programmed" to blow someone up and reset the day, no matter what happens

For part 5 opening, we're gonna have to spam the reminder under every single episode Then again, considering that Traitor's Requiem has a massive spoiler, maybe it's better if Luke doesn't watch it

To be clear, Bites the Dust is a manifestation of Kira's desire to live a quiet life, free from despair or stress about people finding out who he is. When you remember that, it makes perfect sense why his 3rd bomb kills others and then resets time: it's a warning to Hayato not to do anything that would endanger Kira, else he gets trapped in a hellish loop that only he is aware of. To Kira, this is a brand new day, free of worry and stress.
