But yeh im still of the opinion that food wars wouldve been a much better ending is season 4. The whole season 5, while having some moment, really is a downgrade to the series for me. Even the ending Luke really liked with the Erina's feeling, the wholesome, the last shot at the diner, wouldve worked as well at the end of season 4.

Well ... the thought of having the top 30 people of the culinary industry all hanging out in your local downtown eatery is ... exciting And I mean the absolute top Tsukasa, Shinomiya, Joichiro, Dojima, Soma ... not to mention all the Nakiri clan members (emperors/demigods/gods of the culinary world) + the WGO top brass ... all of them just hanging out BTWs really reccomend reading the last few chapters of manga cuz they skipped some wholesome backstorries of the main and suppoerting cast (IMO Megumi/Hinako/Nene teamup rules)

Ending in Central arc was good enough already. You could check out the manga if possible to catch the other bits the anime skipped out.

He wanna try something new and pick anime by himself. Like I think his policy of not quitting and his goal of having viewers is conflicting. He is upset that people vote for the good season then quit at the less good parts and he has less viewers, but he won't quit with us and wanna finish, so he kinda want to pick anime for himself. If shokugeki had 300+ viewers up to s5, then he would’ve not say anything. I am hyped cuz he might finally pick good things. There are some shows i didn't watched myself and i wait for him to react and I believe others the same, so he might try capture a part of his audience on content none of us watched, that way we might be forced watch the whole way through.

Yup I agree with your assessment completely. S1-S3 are amazing. S4 still great but a step down and S5 is just crazy (not in a good way).

I mean I'm pretty sure most people would have been happy for him to only watch s1 of psycho pass, don't think people were voting it for anything else and it was obvious a lot of people only voted for food wars to see his reaction to the lewd stuff which they got bored of fast.
